Abstract: A microwave heating material and method of forming thereof is presented. In accordance with the present invention, a pre-selected metallized pattern is disposed on at least a portion of a dielectric material using a transfer process, preferably a hot stamping transfer process in conjunction with very thin metal, preferably aluminum roll leaf. The roll leaf can be easily hot-stamped in any variety of patterns such as dots, spirals, circles or any other desired pattern onto disposable or reuseable trays, flexible wraps, rigid substrates or any other suitable dielectric material. Such a transfer process is relatively inexpensive both in terms of labor and other costs.
