  • Publication number: 20150188165
Abstract: A method of controlling purging in a hydrogen storage system includes determining the internal hydrogen purity of a hydrogen tank and adjusting a hydrogen purging cycle of the hydrogen tank depending on the determined internal hydrogen purity. An apparatus for controlling purging in a hydrogen storage system is also provided.

  • Publication number: 20150183336
Abstract: A startup limitation method for a fuel cell vehicle. In particular, a sensor is used to determine whether or not a hydrogen inlet door of the fuel cell vehicle is opened. When the hydrogen inlet door is opened, shutting down the fuel cell vehicle. A pressure of a hydrogen storage tank of the fuel cell vehicle is measured, and in response, the fuel cell vehicle is shut down when an increase of the pressure of the hydrogen storage tank of the fuel cell vehicle exceeds a predetermined pressure variation range if the fuel cell vehicle has not already been shut down due to the hydrogen inlet door of the fuel cell vehicle being opened.

  • Publication number: 20150176719
Abstract: A method and an apparatus for detecting an opening and closing of a pilot operated solenoid valve provided in a hydrogen tank can open or cut off a channel of hydrogen gas supplied to a stack. The method includes receiving a valve opening command; determining whether valve driving input/output signals responding to the valve opening command are abnormal; checking a pressure inside a high pressure hydrogen pipe when it is determined that the valve driving input/output signals are normal; and outputting a valve opening signal when the checked pressure satisfies a valve opening condition.

  • Publication number: 20150139268
Abstract: A method for managing a temperature anomaly in a hydrogen tank includes a temperature checking step for defining temperature values detected by temperature, a temperature comparing step for comparing the temperature values with each other and then checking whether there is a specific temperature difference among the temperature values, a temperature sensor judging step for judging the temperature sensor in which the specific temperature difference is generated as an abnormal temperature sensor, and judging the temperature sensor in which the specific temperature difference is not generated as a normal temperature sensor, and an abnormal temperature sensor managing step for applying the temperature value of the temperature sensor judged as the normal temperature sensor when the hydrogen tank in which the temperature sensor judged as the abnormal temperature sensor is provided is filled or amount of fuel in the hydrogen tank is calculated.

  • Publication number: 20140352792
Abstract: A system and method for controlling hydrogen charging for vehicles are provided. The system includes a hydrogen sensor configured to detect a leak in a hydrogen tank and a controller configured to stop an inflow of hydrogen into the hydrogen tank when a hydrogen concentration value detected by the hydrogen sensor is a reference value or greater.

  • Publication number: 20130139897
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a system and method for safely charging hydrogen using real-time hydrogen tank expansion data. The system includes an expansion measurement unit, a vehicle-side control unit, a charging station-side control unit, and a wireless communication unit. The expansion measurement unit is disposed on a hydrogen tank of the vehicle, and measures the degree of expansion of the hydrogen tank and generates a corresponding output signal. The vehicle-side control unit converts the output signal into data wireless output signal. The charging station-side control unit stops hydrogen replenishment by a hydrogen charger when the wireless output signal indicates an unsafe degree of tank expansion based. The wireless communication unit is provided to perform wireless data communication between the vehicle-side control unit and the charging-side control unit.

  • Publication number: 20110250083
Abstract: The present invention discloses a compressor including a hermetic container into/from which refrigerant is sucked and discharged, a compression unit provided in the hermetic container and compressing the refrigerant, a motor unit provided in the hermetic container to be connected to the compression unit and driving the compression unit, and one or more irregular reflection portions provided on an outer circumferential surface of the motor unit. The irregular reflection portion repeatedly reflects and dissipates noise and vibration in the compressor to improve the noise reduction effect. In addition, the irregular reflection portion increases the surface area of the motor unit to improve the radiation effect, which results in high efficiency of the entire compressor.
