    Abstract: The invention discloses a photothermal evaporation material integrating light absorption and thermal insulation, comprising a heat insulator and a light absorber that covers the external surface of the heat insulator, the light absorber is vertically-oriented graphene, the heat insulator is a graphene foam, and the vertically-oriented graphene and graphene foam are connected by covalent bonds; the light absorber is vertically-oriented graphene whose surface is modified with hydrophilic functional groups. The blob table management instructions are configured to manage a plurality of storage requests for a blob stored in a storage stamp as snapshots in a blob table and selectively create a user snapshot of at least one of the snapshots in the blob table. When automatic snapshots are enabled, the blob table management instructions are configured to receive a first request to overwrite the blob. If the first request does not further specify a key of the one of the snapshots in the blob table, the blob table management instructions are configured to add a new snapshot to the blob table and maintain storage of a prior snapshot of the blob for a maximum period.

    Abstract: A device and method that exchanges heat is described, which includes intaking air into a chamber and then forcing air from holes of a heat conducting surface that fluidly communicate with the chamber to create a toroidal mass of air resulting from vortex shedding. A pump, for example a flexible diaphragm, is employed to increase and decrease a volume of the chamber in communication with the holes. When the volume of the chamber is increased (air intake), a boundary layer of heat breaks up by the heat conducting surface which helps to improve cooling. When the volume of the chamber is decreased, jets of air are discharged from the holes to create vortices of air that cause vortex shedding and can also help disrupt the boundary layer of heat.

    Abstract: The invention discloses a pulsating chlorination machine for purification of city water. The machine includes a body, two ends of which are respectively a water inlet and outlet end between which a converging pipe, a throat pipe and a diverging pipe are connected in turn; and a liquefied chlorine input port located below a middle part of the throat pipe and connecting with the throat pipe via a cone-shaped valve seat. A normally closed cone-shaped valve rod is mounted over the cone-shaped valve seat and inserted into the throat pipe through a vertical circular hole on a top of the body, and moves up and down under the control of a pulsating electromagnetic executive mechanism to open/close the liquefied chlorine input port. Through the liquefied chlorine input port the liquefied chlorine flows into the throat pipe and out from the diverging pipe and then into a clear-water reservoir.
