Effects of decreasing interfacial resistance and enhancing Li charge and discharge efficiency are obtained when forming a solid electrolyte interphase (SEI) on a lithium electrode in advance using a pretreatment process of the lithium electrode, and then using the SEI layer-formed lithium electrode in a lithium metal battery.
