  • Publication number: 20230052289
Abstract: Described is an assay termed Programmable Enzyme-Assisted Selective Exponential Amplification (PASEA) that concurrently amplifies both wild type and mutant alleles while selectively cleaving the former. With time, the rare mutant alleles dominate, and are readily detectable by direct detection, Sanger sequencing, and other readily available methods. Also described are point-of-care assays and microfluidic devices for performing PASEA.

  • Patent number: 11349300
Abstract: The invention relates to a grounding fault protection method for a high-voltage capacitor of a direct-current filter. The method comprises the following steps of acquiring a head end voltage u and an unbalanced current iT2 of a direct-current filter, and acquiring a discrete head end voltage and unbalanced current sequence; calculating a virtual capacitance Czd; determining a protection setting value Cset according to the bridge arm capacitance of the high-voltage capacitor, and when the virtual capacitance Czd is larger than the protection setting value Cset, protecting and judging to be an internal fault; otherwise, protecting and judging to be an external fault.

  • Publication number: 20210010064
Abstract: Provided are methods directed to enriching nucleic acids in a biological sample. These methods, in some embodiments can discriminately enrich the abundance of low-copy nucleic acids relative to higher-copy nucleic acids. In some embodiments, the methods provided can enrich a low-copy number mutant allele associated with a disease state, thus allowing early detection and optimized treatment. In other embodiments, the methods can be used for detection of particular molecules, such as antigens, in a sample.
