  • Patent number: 10850074
Abstract: A guide wire is disclosed, the guide wire including a flexible wire main body, a coil that is intermediately disposed in a longitudinal direction of the wire main body in an outer periphery of the wire main body, and a support portion that supports at least one of a distal end and a proximal end of the coil so as to be rotatable around a central axis O of the wire main body. In a natural state where an external force is not supplied to the guide wire, the support portion supports in a state where an inner peripheral portion of the coil and an outer peripheral portion of the wire main body are separated from each other.

  • Patent number: 10307565
Abstract: An accommodation tool is disclosed with which an operator can easily wind and accommodate a flexible medical elongated body. An accommodation tool winds and accommodates the flexible medical elongated body, for example, a guide wire. The accommodation tool has an inner wall, an outer wall, and an interlock wall. The guide wire is wound around the inner wall. The outer wall defines an accommodation space for accommodating the guide wire between the inner wall and the outer wall, and that is disposed further outward in a radial direction from a centroid of the accommodation tool than the inner wall. The interlock wall interlocks one end portion of the inner wall and one end portion of the outer wall with each other.
