  • Publication number: 20160242689
Abstract: The invention relates to a blood withdrawal device (10) having an active liquid (12) containing a platelet aggregation inhibitor, a microneedle patch (14) having a plurality of microneedles (20), wherein a plurality of microneedles (20) is configured for dispensing the active liquid (12) into the skin (34) of a patient, and comprising a negative pressure generating device (16) connected to a plurality of microneedles (20) such that blood (46) can be drawn from the skin (34) by means of the microneedles (20). According to the invention the active liquid (12) contains a pain killer, the active liquid (12) is arranged in the blood receptacle (18), and the negative pressure generating device (16) is connected to the blood receptacle (18), such that by generating an excess pressure in the blood receptacle (18), the active liquid (12) can be dispensed by way of microneedles (20), and by generating a negative pressure, blood (46) can be drawn into the blood receptacle (18).

  • Publication number: 20150126877
Abstract: A bio-measurement data recording device has a seat which has a back surface made of a foam material, a seat surface, and a plurality of back surface sensors embedded in the back surface such that a plurality of leads for an electrocardiogram of a the person can be received. At least two seat surface sensors are embedded in the seat surface. A left hand grip is arranged such that it can be gripped by the person with the left hand and which has a left hand grip sensor or conducting a channel for the electrocardiogram, and a right hand grip is arranged such that it can be gripped by said person with the right hand and which has a right hand grip sensor for conducting a channel for the electrocardiogram. An evaluation unit is connected to the sensors and is configured to ascertain the electrocardiogram.

  • Patent number: 5955335
Abstract: Biomaterial such as an enzyme, cell, antigen or antibody is immobilized by covalent bonding to a substrate having an Si.sub.3 N.sub.4 surface containing Si--NH.sub.2 groups that provide reactive NH.sub.2 groups. A heterobifunctional cross-linking agent having an NH.sub.2 -reactive group and a biomaterial-reactive group is reacted with the NH.sub.2 groups of the surface and then with the biomaterial or the heterobifunctional cross-linking agent is reacted with the biomaterial and then with the NH.sub.2 groups of the surface. The Si.sub.3 N.sub.4 surface containing Si--NH.sub.2 groups can be formed by precipitating on a substrate a 10-1000 nm thick Si.sub.3 N.sub.4 layer from a SiH.sub.4 /NH.sub.3 mixture, and providing reactive NH.sub.2 groups on the surface of the layer by subjecting the surface to hydrolyzing cleaning.

  • Patent number: 5917100
Abstract: A catalyst formed by the reaction of a magnesium alkoxide dispersion having a particle size of from 100 to 3000 nm with a compound of a metal selected from the group comprising titanium, zirconium, vanadium and chromium and then with a chlorine-containing organoaluminum compound possesses a very good hydrogen responsiveness and a high activity even in the presence of molecular-weight regulators such as hydrogen. The catalyst is therefore outstandingly suitable for the production of low molecular-weight polyolefins. The catalyst makes possible the production of waxes having a reduced residual ash content. The large particle diameter and the low fines content of the polymer powder produced by suspension polymerization with this catalyst enables easy removal of the suspension medium and drying. The catalyst is furthermore advantageously used in solution polymerization and, because of the large particle diameter, in gas phase polymerization for producing low molecular-weight poly-1-olefins.
