  • Patent number: 11895576
Abstract: An NSSF (69) includes: a selection unit selecting a slice corresponding to a service related to a request from a terminal (10) and a target processing server corresponding to the slice based on slice correspondence information including information where a slice, a processing server corresponding to the slice, and a service used by a terminal are associated with one another; and a notification unit notifying an AMF (30) of selection result including information regarding the slice and target processing server. The AMF includes: a determination processing unit determining whether the AMF is a target processing server based on information on the target processing server in the selection result information, and performing processing for a service when the AMF is the target processing server, or transferring a request for processing for a service to the target processing server when the AMF is not the target processing server.

  • Patent number: 10652813
Abstract: A slice management system (1) is a slice management system managing slices that are virtual networks generated on a network infrastructure, comprises a memory storing a priority list in which slices of connection destination candidates of a UE (2) are aligned in order of priority levels and, in a case in which a connection request for a slice from the UE (2) is acquired, determines a slice to which UE (2) is to be connected on the basis of the priority list stored in the memory.

  • Patent number: 10481935
Abstract: A virtual server for executing a communication process is implemented on virtualization resources without being inefficient even when different virtualization resource management schemes are included. A management system included in a mobile communication system is configured to include an NFVI which is virtualization resources including a physical server in which a VNF to execute a communication process is generated and includes a VNFM for managing the VNF, a VIM for managing the virtualization resources of the NFVI, and an orchestrator for managing all the virtualization resources of the NFVI, wherein the orchestrator includes a virtual server generation request section configured to input detailed information for implementing the VNF retained by the VNFM, rewrite the input detailed information according to a virtualization resource management scheme by the VIM, and request the VIM to generate the VNF.

  • Patent number: 10481953
Abstract: Leakage of detailed information for implementing a virtual server to execute a communication process on virtualization resources is prevented. There is provided a management system (10) included in a mobile communication system (1) configured to include an NFVI (60) which is virtualization resources including a physical server generated by a VNF (70) to execute a communication process, and the system includes a VNFM (30) for managing the VNF (70), a VIM (40) for managing the virtualization resources of the NFVI (60), an orchestrator (20) for managing all the virtualization resources of the NFVI (60), wherein the VNFM (30) includes a retention section (31) configured to retain detailed information for implementing the VNF (70) and a virtual server generation request section (32) configured to request the VIM (40) to generate the VNF (70) using the detailed information.

  • Patent number: 9760391
Abstract: A method for implementing an entity of a network by virtualizing said network entity and implementing it on one or more servers each acting as an execution unit for executing thereon one or more applications running and/or one or more virtual machines running on said execution unit, each of said application programs or virtual machines running on a server and implementing at least a part of the functionality of said network entity being called a virtual network function VNF module, wherein a plurality of said VNF modules together implement said network entity to thereby form a virtual network function VNF, said method comprising the steps of: obtaining m key performance indicators (KPI) specifying the required overall performance of the VNF, obtaining n performance characteristics for available types of execution units, determining one or more possible deployment plans based on the obtained m KPI and n performance characteristics, each deployment plan specifying the number and types of execution units, such t
