  • Publication number: 20250019675
Abstract: The present disclosure provides T7 RNA polymerase variants, the use of which increases transcription efficiency and improves the quality and yield of the enzyme. Also provided are polynucleotides encoding the T7 RNA polymerase variants, host cells capable of expressing the T7 RNA polymerase variants, and methods of using the T7 RNA polymerase variants for high-efficiency transcription.

  • Publication number: 20220403347
Abstract: The present disclosure provides mutated PglB oligosaccharyltransferase enzymes that have the ability to efficiently catalyze the transfer of a saccharide from a lipid carrier to an asparagine reissue in a glycosylation motif on a protein. Also provided are polynucleotides encoding the mutated PglB oligosaccharyltransferase enzymes, host cells capable of expressing the engineered PglB oligosaccharyltransferase enzymes, and methods of using the engineered PglB oligosaccharyltransferase enzymes to make N-glycosylated proteins. Also provided are N-glycosylated proteins that are made using the engineered PglB oligosaccharyltransferase enzymes.

  • Publication number: 20090037960
Abstract: An on-demand system (e.g., a video on-demand system) includes a central network node on which reside media assets or programming available to subscribers upon request. A plurality of edge nodes is in communication with the central network node and with one another over a at least one packet-switched network. Each of the edge nodes includes at least one video on-demand server on which a subset of the available media assets reside. Each of the edge nodes is configured to provide on-demand services to subscribers in different geographic regions. The edge node also includes a content management agent for coordinating delivery of locally unavailable media assets from others of the edge nodes using a peer-to-peer file transfer protocol.

  • Publication number: 20050289619
Abstract: A resource allocation method and system configured to establish a streaming session in conjunction with a streaming controller so as to allow a BMCS to intelligently establish, set up and teardown streaming sessions. The resource allocation method and system further manages devices installed with the VOD Server and devices across the steaming networks that are not visible to the existing resource managers.
