  • Patent number: 4722339
Abstract: The instrument has projections with locking teeth for locking the instrument in its closed clamping position, said projections being located near the connecting zone between the levers of the instrument and their ring grips. Near one projection a slide having a wedge surface is provided, which may be shifted between the projections against spring force by pressure onto a key of the slide, for spreading appart the projections and for disengaging their locking teeth. Disengagement of the locking teeth and opening of the closed instrument are substantially facilitated by simple and inexpensive means which do not hinder operation of the instrument.

  • Patent number: 4644953
Abstract: The hysterectomium comprises beside of clamping jaws on one side of the clamping jaws a cutting blade for cutting of tissue and on the other side of the clamping jaws a stitching device. The instrument permits a particularly rational working during which sections of tissue are clamped, sutured on one side and separated at the side.

  • Patent number: 4600007
Abstract: The forceps comprises clamping jaws which may be actuated clampwise by means of grips. One side edge of a first clamping jaw is in form of a cutting edge. On the side of the other clamping jaw lies a cutting blade which may cooperate with the cutting edge of the first clamping jaw for cutting the tissue clamped between the clamping jaws. The rest position of the cutting blade is determined by a catching device. The cutting blade engages below a protecting ramp in this catching device when the forceps is open. The forceps permits an easy, rational and proper working whereby injuries by uncontrollable and inadvertent motion of the cutting blade are excluded.
