The guide provides guidance along its length between its first and second ends. The seat comprises a plurality of segments, each slidingly mounted to the guide to allow a sliding movement of the segments along the guide and relative to the carrier device between a stored position of the segments within the storage compartment, and an exposed position of the segments. A seat element is pivotally mounted to a first of the segments pivotable between an inoperative and operative seat forming position. At least one backrest is mounted to at least a second of the segments. With the segments in their exposed position, the seat element, when pivoted to its operative position, together with the backrest(s), can be used as a flight attendant seat.

The trolley is movable over the cabin floor on laterally attached castor pairs, and is insertable from a front into the receiving area and locked therein so that its rear panel faces a back of the receiving area. The line connector is connected to a connector in the area of the floor of the cabin. A line extending between the connector and the line connector emerges at least partially out of the cabin floor in the trolley receiving area and, in the case of a locked trolley, laterally offset from the castor pairs, and, projecting at least partially above the cabin floor, extends towards the back of the receiving area. The line runs upwards between the trolley rear panel and the back of the receiving area.

Afterwards, a new aircraft configuration, in which the selected element is arranged in the new position, is determined. By means of the reconfiguration of the aircraft it is possible to save fuel.

By applying description logics, the processing unit generates a manufacturing plan in accordance with a set of rules and the input parameters.
