  • Patent number: 11951273
Abstract: A coupling system for a closed fluid transfer system includes a coupling member that features a coupling member housing. The coupling member housing includes a housing portion that at least partially surrounds a sealing member receptacle in an axial direction with respect to the longitudinal axis and which includes a coupling member housing threaded portion on the inner surface facing the sealing member. The coupling system also includes a mating coupling member for coupling with the coupling member. The mating coupling member includes a mating coupling member housing that has a mating coupling member guiding structure. The coupling member housing threaded portion of the coupling member is configured such that the mating coupling member guiding structure and the sealing member receptacle structure are jointly and movably guided, in particular in a predetermined positional relation to each other, by the coupling member housing threaded portion.

  • Publication number: 20240099938
Abstract: An adapter for coupling with medical vials has a housing with a center longitudinal axis. The adapter includes first latching portions on an inner circumference for latching to a first closing cover of a first vial, and second latching portions on the inner circumference for latching to a second closing cover of a second vial. The second closing cover has a larger diameter than the first closing cover. The housing has web portions and spring arm portions extending between the web portions and on which the first latching portions are arranged. The housing is elastically deformable from a first state, in which the spring arm portions latch with the first latching cover, into a second state, in which the spring arm portions allow a latching connection between the second latching portions and the second closing cover. The adapter device can be used in infusion therapy.

  • Publication number: 20210332509
Abstract: A circular knitting machine includes a needle cylinder rotating around a vertical axis and a sinker ring rotating with the needle cylinder. The needle cylinder has in its outer edge portion vertically controllable tip needles with needle hooks opened downwards as loop-forming elements, and for each tip needle, a surrounding sinker supporting the loop-formation is held movable in the radial direction on the sinker ring. Further, for each tip needle on the needle cylinder, a press sinker is kept on the sinker ring horizontally in radial direction, to close the hook tip of the tip needle by pressing the needle tip to the needle shaft. The press sinkers are each disposed on the sinker ring between two adjacent surrounding sinkers. The circular knitting machine allows needle wear to be reduced and a selection between weft knitting and warp knitting as loop-forming techniques is enabled in a single machine.

  • Patent number: 10753604
Abstract: In a method for the combustion management in firing installations, in which a primary combustion gas quantity is conveyed through the fuel into a primary combustion area, part of the waste gas flow is extracted in the rear grate area and returned to the combustion process in the form of internal recirculation gas. In this case, no secondary combustion air is supplied between the grate and the supply of the internal recirculation gas. A firing installation for carrying out this method features nozzles above the firing grate such that no air supply is arranged between the firing grate and the nozzles.
