    Abstract: Provided are tissue-mounted devices and methods for monitoring a thermal transport property (e.g., thermal conductivity, thermal diffusivity, heat capacity) of tissue, such as skin. The devices conformally mount to the tissue and have one or more thermal actuators and a plurality of sensors. The actuator applies heat to the tissue and the sensors to detect a spatio temporal distribution of a physiological tissue parameter or physical property resulting from the heating. This spatio temporal information may be correlated with a rate, velocity and/or direction of blood flow, the presence of a vascular occlusion, circulation changes due to inflammation, hydration level and other physiological parameters.

Operations are then performed while the application is being accessed on the computing device in the first configuration. A second configuration template that specifies a second configuration of the application corresponding to the request included in the received data is generated. The application is adjusted using the second configuration template to run in the second configuration. An instruction is provided to the computing device to enable the computing device to access the application running in the second configuration.

    Abstract: A reusable, protective face mask has two detachable filter trays that attach on each side of the mask, a soft elastomeric face seal, and straps to go around the user's head. Exhalations and inhalations can pass through the same filter material. The filter trays can accept arbitrary filter media. A forward-facing port can be used to increase speech intelligibility by transmitting sound through a diaphragm without a prohibitive amount of distortion. Manufacture of the mask is facilitated because the mask body and the other mask components can be produced by injection molding. Decontamination and sterilization are facilitated because the mask can be fully disassembled.

The fuel split apportions a total flow of fuel to the combustor between the first combustion zone and a second combustion zone. The method also includes calculating a calculated fuel split that results in a calculated operating temperature approaching the target operating temperature. The method further includes channeling a first flow of fuel to the first combustion zone and a second flow of fuel to the second combustion zone.
