Abstract: Methods and systems for determining and providing automatic flags for what is classified as a “significant” bet. When the user makes a significant bet, a software application automatically records the play and may also record the user's reaction. The user does not have to provide an indication to record these clips.

Abstract: Systems, devices and methods for delivering audible alerts are described. In one aspect, an event for generating an audible alert for a user is detected. In response to detection of the event for generating the audible alert, it is determined whether an authorized audible interface device is within a threshold distance of the user based on a location of the user and a location of one or more authorized audible interface devices. In response to determining that an audible interface device is within the threshold distance of the user, alert instructions for the audible interface device are generated. The alert instructions cause the audible interface device to generate the audible alert in accordance with alert data provided in the alert instructions. The alert instructions are sent to the audible interface device over a wireless network via a communication module.

Abstract: A user's wager history and previous interactions with a ticker element on a wagering app can be used to identify the user's wager preferences and tendencies. These preferences can then be used to personalize the order in which ticker elements may be displayed to a user while viewing available wagers. The available wagers can additionally be used with the user preferences to improve the relevance of the ticker elements displayed to both the user and the wagers available to the user to place.

Abstract: A tailsitter aircraft includes an airframe, a thrust array attached to the airframe and a flight control system. The thrust array includes propulsion assemblies configured to transition the airframe from a forward flight orientation to a VTOL orientation at a conversion rate for an approach to a target ground location in a forward flight-to-VTOL transition phase. The flight control system implements an adaptive transition system including a transition parameter monitoring module configured to monitor parameters including a ground speed and a distance to the target ground location. The adaptive transition system includes a transition adjustment determination module configured to adjust the conversion rate of the airframe from the forward flight orientation to the VTOL orientation based on the ground speed and the distance to the target ground location such that the airframe is vertically aligned with the target ground location in the VTOL orientation of the forward flight-to-VTOL transition phase.

Abstract: A method, system, and apparatus for generating probabilities, for example for displaying on a video feed, which may be generated or adjusted using machine learning and/or artificial intelligence. One embodiment includes a method for generating and adjusting probabilities. the generated probabilities in order to create and display probability graphics on a display device. The graphics may be generated and/or updated using artificial intelligence or machine learning. Display information may be updated in real-time as changes are made in the game (e.g. a player injury, substitutions, changing weather conditions, etc.). The changes may be detected by a detection system on the field, attached to players or equipment.

Abstract: An interface for positive pressure therapy includes a mask assembly. The mask assembly includes a mask seal that is adapted to underlie the nose. The mask seal extends up the lateral sides of the nose. The mask seal has a primary seal below the nose and a secondary seal alongside the nose. The mask seal includes a rolling hinge that permits one portion of the mask seal to deform relative to another portion of the mask seal. In one configuration, the portion of the mask seal that underlies the nose is configured to deform relative to a lower portion of the mask seal.

Abstract: A method of displaying wagers to a user viewing a live sporting event in which the wagers displayed to the user are dependent upon what element in the live sporting event are in the field of view being presented to the user. As the point of view of the user changes, either by user selection or based on the camera angle of the broadcast the user is viewing, the elements of the live sporting event, such as players or the ball, that are in the field of view are identified and the wagers available of those elements are displayed for the user to select.

Abstract: Modified animal tissues, organs, and organ systems for use in simulated surgical procedures are disclosed. The tissues, organs, and/or organ systems can be modified by enhancing their electrical conductivity, by including simulated contents mimicking what would normally be present in live animals, and by having fake blood perfusing through them. Portions of different tissues, organs, or organ systems, which can be from the same or different animals, can be adhered to provide hybrid/chimeric tissues, organs, or organ systems, and also used for simulated surgical procedures. These modifications can provide surgeons with a more realistic experience during a simulated surgical procedure.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method of in-play wagering for pooled or contest prizes by points in which users are placed in various cohorts based on skill and then allowed to compete against one another in a contest for a prize that is won by the user with the total amount of points earned during a contest. This method provides grouping the users of a wagering network into cohorts and allowing the users to join a contest based on the cohort to compete for a prize that the user with the most points wins during the length of the contest.

Abstract: A method of identifying wagers trends from a user's wagering history in order to alert the user of similar wagers that are available. The user interacts with a betting platform which displays all of the live plays available to be wagered upon, and the odds of those wagers. The user's interaction with the application may be recorded, along with their wagering data and a plurality of play characteristics. As the betting platform receives a new live play available to be wagered on, it may compare the characteristics of the new play to the user's history and may notify the user of the new play if it is highly correlated with their past wagering interactions with the platform.

Abstract: A method for monitoring performance of a ML system includes receiving a data stream via a processor and generating a first plurality of metrics based on the data stream. The processor also generates input data based on the data stream, and sends the input data to a machine learning (ML) model for generation of intermediate output and model output based on the input data. The processor also generates a second plurality of metrics based on the intermediate output, and a third plurality of metrics based on the model output. An alert is generated based on at least one of the first plurality of metrics, the second plurality of metrics, or the third plurality of metrics, and a signal representing the alert is sent for display to a user via an interface.

Abstract: A drilling assembly for downhole to surface communications is provided. The drilling assembly includes a series of pipe segments coupled in fluid communication between a slip ring assembly and an end pipe portion. The slip ring assembly is coupled in data and fluid communication with the pipe segments. A surface communications link is in data communication with the drilling assembly via the slip ring assembly. An end pipe portion is coupled with the drilling assembly that includes an electronics assembly with electronic components for transferring data to the slip ring assembly via the drilling assembly. A drill bit is operably coupled with the end pipe portion for drilling a borehole. Each pipe segment includes an outer conductor portion, a hollow inner conductor portion, and a dielectric portion for electrical isolation between the outer conductor portion and the inner conductor portion.

Abstract: Techniques relating to streaming video are disclosed. These techniques include identifying one or more streaming video sessions for one or more users based on a plurality of events relating to streaming video for the one or more users. The techniques further include storing data for the one or more streaming video sessions in an electronic database, based on the plurality of events, identifying a plurality of metadata relating to the events, and determining, based on a threshold value, a time to store at least a portion of the plurality of metadata in the electronic database, the time occurring after the storing the data for the one or more streaming video sessions. The techniques further include responding to a query for metrics relating to the one or more streaming video sessions by aggregating at least a portion of the stored data.

Abstract: Systems and methods of a monitoring node to assist an air navigation service provider (ANSP) in the design of an airspace. The monitoring node collects flight data and performs flight simulations for a large geographic region that is outside of the airspace. The monitoring node receives flight data collected by the ANSP for the airspace. The monitoring node supplements their flight data with the data received from the ANSP and performs flight simulations and generates flight plans for the airspace. The flight simulations and flight plans are transmitted to the ANSP which are then used by the ANSP to design the airspace.

Abstract: A plurality of different virtualization system images are configured for deployment to a plurality of nodes in heterogeneous environments. Individual ones of the virtualization system images are configured such that once deployed, the nodes form a computer cluster having a storage pool that is shared across the nodes. When configuring the virtualization system images, information that describes the heterogeneous computing environments is accessed, and constraints pertaining the heterogeneous computing environments are reconciled in advance of configuring the different virtualization system images. A common subnet across the heterogeneous environments is established. The plurality of different virtualization system images are configured to access the common subnet once deployed. The common subnet serves as a storage I/O communication path over which a cluster-wide storage pool is implemented.

Abstract: A surgeon training apparatus includes a cassette, which includes biological tissue repurposed into a form consistent with the anatomical configuration of abdominal hernias, affixed into an anatomically correct silicon framework which replicates the abdominal anatomy. The framework positions the cassette in an anatomically correct position within the abdominal cavity, enabling surgeons to train using a properly positioned representation of the target anatomy, thus requiring the surgeon to properly use surgical tools to correct the pathologic condition caused by the hernia. The cassette is formed by applying biologic tissue to a specially designed “plate,” which affixes the tissue block into the anatomic framework, and is adapted for connection to a grounding device so the surgeon can use cautery during the simulated hernia repair.

Abstract: A method transmits a response message in response to an incoming message. A header portion of the incoming message is identical to a header portion of the response message. A payload of the incoming message is different from a payload of the response message. The method splits an incoming physical signal representing the incoming message into a first and a second copy. The first copy is provided to a transmitter system. Further, the method generates a signal and, based on determining that a message is received from at least part of the second copy, provides the generated signal to the transmitter system so that the generated signal is transmitted after at least part of the first copy's header part has been transmitted. The transmitted at least part of the first copy's header part and the transmitted generated signal together form a transmitted response signal representing the response message.
