  • Patent number: 11053708
Abstract: A fence panel system comprises a first elongate frame member having a plurality of panel spacers projecting from a rearward facing wall in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the first elongate frame member, such that respective spacer pairs define open-ended channels therebetween that, in use, are adapted to receive fence panel ends. A second elongate frame member is adapted to secure to the first elongate frame member so as to close the open-ended channels for retaining the fence panel ends therein.

  • Publication number: 20210166010
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for determining reduced player performance during a sporting event. The system can use one or more sensors to capture information about actions such as shooting, dribbling, kicking and/or passing an object performed by the player and at least one processor to analyze the information in order to evaluate the player's performance. The system can determine and store at least one parameter indicative of the performance of the player in performing an action, and calculate based on the at least one stored parameter at least one value indicative of whether player intentionally underperformed the action and provide an output indicative of the assessment.

  • Publication number: 20210137183
Abstract: A loom is shown for use in an item of clothing for use in hazardous environments, wherein said item of clothing includes light emitting devices and connectors for receiving peripheral devices. A first conductor 501 and a second conductor 502 are twisted together to form a first twisted pair 503; a third conductor 513 and a fourth conductor 514 are twisted together to form a second twisted pair 515. A woven material 516 surrounds the first twisted pair and the second twisted pair. Stitches 517 are placed between the first twisted pair and the second twisted pair to form a first conduit 521 for the first twisted pair and a second conduit 522 for the second twisted pair.

  • Patent number: 10833996
Abstract: At an application executing in conjunction with a vSwitch in a host system, using a processor assigned to the vSwitch in the host system, a flow of a number of packets is received from a VM. At the application, a set of CWND values is computed using a corresponding set of congestion control algorithms. At the application, a determination is made whether any of the CWND values in the set of CWND values match the number of packets in the flow within a tolerance value. In response to a CWND value in the set of CWND matching the number of packets in the flow within the tolerance value, a conclusion is drawn that a type of the congestion control algorithm which computed the matching CWND value is the type of a local congestion control algorithm implemented within the VM.

  • Publication number: 20200324869
Abstract: There is disclosed a marine propulsion system for a shaft-driven boat. The system includes a recess formed in the hull of the boat, and a drive cassette. The drive cassette includes: a housing; a static tube extending rearwardly from the housing and fixed relative thereto; and at least one drive shaft extending through the static tube and into the housing. The drive shaft is supported for rotation within the static tube by at least one shaft bearing, and is rotatably supported within the housing by thrust bearings. The static tube, the drive shaft, the or each shaft bearing, and the thrust bearings are all coaxially aligned with one another. The housing and the recess are mutually configured such that the housing may be engaged within the recess to install the drive cassette within the drivetrain of the boat.

  • Patent number: 10762642
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for determining a trajectory of a axisymmetric object in 3-D physical space using a digital camera which records 2-D image data are described. In particular, based upon i) a characteristic length of the axisymmetric object, ii) a physical position of the camera determined from sensors associated with the camera (e.g., accelerometers) and iii) captured 2-D digital images from the camera including a time at which each image is generated relative to one another, a position, a velocity vector and an acceleration vector can be determined in three dimensional physical space for axisymmetric object objects as a function of time. In one embodiment, the method and apparatus can be applied to determine the trajectories of objects in games which utilize axisymmetric object objects, such as basketball, baseball, bowling, golf, soccer, rugby or football.
