  • Patent number: 11250189
Abstract: Identifying effects of geometric variations of physical parts may include measuring one or more surfaces of a physical part in three-dimensions, analyzing measurements of the physical part to determine a geometric variation from a baseline model, modifying an existing computational fluid dynamics (CFD) mesh for the baseline model based on the geometric variation using a mesh metamorphosis algorithm to create a target mesh for the physical part, and analyzing the target mesh using a CFD analysis to determine an effect (e.g., an effect on unsteadiness) in a system caused by the geometric variation.

  • Patent number: 11151263
Abstract: A system or method for encryption of data includes a light source, a random optical element and a light detection element. The light source is arranged to transmit an input data signal to the random optical element. The light source is incident on the random optical element such that the input data signal is randomly scattered by the random optical element to generate an image at on the detector disposed at an output of the random optical element. The image received by the detector is applied to a compressive sensing algorithm to generate a transfer function. The transfer function defines a relationship between the input data signal and the image to enable estimation and reconstruction of the input data signal.

  • Publication number: 20210287506
Abstract: Deploying at each transition between separate areas of a facility a plurality of RFID reader antennas. Each antenna is deployed at a given transition covering a span of the given transition from a different perspective such that each point in the span is covered by at least two antennas. The antennas of a first transition between a first area and a second area of the separate areas detect, and in combination with an RFID system in communication with the antennas of the first transition, a tag known to have been in the first area. The RFID system identifies an item associated with the detected tag as moving to the second area. The antennas of a particular transition of the second area subsequently detect, in combination with the RFID system in communication therewith, the tag, and identifying the detected item as leaving the second area for an area across the particular transition.

  • Patent number: 11079757
Abstract: One or more UAVs may survey signal sources encountered during execution of flight plans. A UAV may identify a signal source and determine attributes about the signal source. The attributes may include a location, an identifier, a signal/network type, a signal strength, and/or other information about the signal or signal source. Some attributes may be supplied by the signal source and other attributes may be assigned by another source that received signals from the signal source. The signal source may be associated with a trust level or trust designation (e.g., trusted, not trusted, unknown, etc.). An example of an untrusted signal source is a rogue signal source. A signal source may be labeled as untrusted or have a designation of unknown trust level based on application of one or more rules. Survey results and attributes may be compiled and made available for use by other parties.

The cuff frames include a wall extending along and radially spaced from a longitudinal axis. The wall defines a wrist portion, a hand portion, and an arm portion. The wrist portion is radially spaced from the longitudinal axis at a first distance to define a wrist opening. The hand portion is longitudinally adjacent to the wrist portion and flares outwards from the wrist portion. The arm portion is longitudinally adjacent to the wrist portion opposite the hand portion and flares outwards from the wrist portion. The first distance is selected to enable the hand and the wrist of the wearer to pass through the wrist opening.

  • Patent number: 11024184
Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for reducing the amount of messaging between aerial vehicles and between controllers of aerial vehicles and simplifying aerial vehicle traffic management. In one implementation, a large service area, such as the United States, may be separated into a series of hierarchal regions. Rather than sending notifications to all agents (e.g., aerial vehicles, controllers) in the service area, each agent may subscribe to one or more regions of the hierarchal regions and only receive messages intended for the subscribed regions. In one example, as discussed below, messages for a particular region are only sent to agents subscribed to that region. Other agents within the larger service area do not receive the messages as they may not be relevant to those agents.
