  • Publication number: 20240118790
Abstract: A computer readable media, a method, and a system registering a third party application providing an available communication system between a local user and a remote user identity, storing information related to the available communication system in a first database, obtaining contact information for the remote user identity from the third party application, determining a communication type for the third party application, pairing the remote user identity with a contact, and updating a graphical representation of contact information.

  • Patent number: 11938507
Abstract: Metering dispensers include a body configured to hold a flowable composition in a chamber, a drive screw coupled to the body, and a plunger threadingly coupled to the drive screw. The plunger includes at least two annular lips that form a fluid seal with the chamber as the plunger travels along the drive screw through the chamber. A base is rotationally coupled to the body with a cam that contacts at least one tab extending externally from the body so that the tab enters at least one low point on the cam by traveling over a trailing edge of the low point, and the trailing edge then prevents the tab from exiting the low point in the direction of the trailing edge.

  • Publication number: 20120191861
Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes determining that a first user registered for an event. A first user identifier for the event is determined upon the first user registering for the event. The first user identifier is associated with the first user. A message is received from the first user. The message includes a second user identifier associated with a second user. The second user identifier is determined for the second user upon the second user registering for the event. A computing device automatically connects the second user and the first user using the first user identifier and the second user identifier.

  • Patent number: 5939996
Abstract: An optical element is fitted to a high intensity light emitting diode used in a variable message sign. The optical element has surfaces which redirect any stray light from the light emitting diode to form useful light. The faces of the optical element are angled to shape the light beam emitted therefrom. The light beam is shaped by the faces to produce a beam having increased intensity in a predetermined direction. The optical element enhances the visibility of the sign and allows a reduction in the number of light emitting diodes used in the sign.

  • Patent number: 5066177
Abstract: An attachment for use with a portable power planer for consistently producing a scarf cut of a particular angle in sections of plywood or like material which are to be joined to form a continuous piece of material. The attachment produces the scarf cut by positioning blades of the power planar at an angle in relation to the horizontal top surface of the plywood or like material. The blades of the planar, when moved longitudinally across said plywood or like material, removes a section of plywood or like material corresponding to the angle. Consistent angles are maintained and scarf cuts are produced quickly and consistently in materials to be joined.

  • Patent number: 4207992
Abstract: A timing mechanism for dispensing medicine on a timed basis for a patient to remind the patient to take the medication. The device comprises a dispensing wheel having a plurality of medication storage compartments, which are labeled to indicate various times of the day and days of the week to receive the medicine. The timing device comprises an electric motor which drives a gear adapted to turn a transfer gear which in turn rotates a driven gear to move the compartmented dispensing wheel one compartment per time period to dispense medicine into a hopper for use.
