The energy storage device within the deadbolt can be electrically connected to the main housing. The energy storage device can be used to power an actuator and/or accelerometer in the main housing.

    Abstract: According to some embodiments, a wheel, restraint system comprises a chock track coupled to a vehicle transport, an anchor mandrel, a ratchet mandrel, and a strap. The anchor mandrel is coupled to the chock track on a first side of a vehicle tire and comprises a pair of strap guides. The distance between the pair of strap guides is wider than the strap. The ratchet mandrel is coupled to the chock track on a second side of the tire. The ratchet mandrel comprises a ratchet for applying a rotational force and a slot for receiving the strap. The slot is wider than the strap. One end of the strap is coupled to the anchor mandrel and the other is inserted into the ratchet mandrel slot. Applying a rotational force to the ratchet mandrel produces a tightening force that tightens the strap around a portion of the vehicle tire.

The another electrical connection can be configured to electrically connect the deadbolt with the main housing. The another attachment mechanism can be configured to attach the deadbolt a pre-defined distance apart from the main housing.

The multi-throw switch may be configured to direct signals received from the antenna between (1) an amplification path that connects a receive terminal of the multi-throw switch to a receiver of the wireless communication system and (2) at least one bypass path that connects an additional receive terminal of the multi-throw switch to the receiver. The amplification path may include at least one amplifier that amplifies signals received from the antenna, and the bypass path may have a gain that is less than a gain of the amplification path.
