  • Publication number: 20220087747
Abstract: A method of implanting a hip joint prosthesis into a patient can include obtaining image data of hip joint anatomy of the patient. Physical activities that the patient desires to participate in subsequent to implanting the hip prosthesis can be determined. A size and an initial placement of the hip joint prosthesis based on the image data can be determined. A desired range of motion of the hip joint prosthesis based on the determined physical activities can be determined. A plan can be created comprising a desired implanted location of the hip joint prosthesis and based on the desired range of motion. The plan can be incorporated onto a guide. The plan can be executed with the guide thereby implanting the hip joint prosthesis into the patient at the desired implanted position.

  • Publication number: 20220076322
Abstract: Images capture an object that a person in a frictionless store is looking at. A user interface is automatically initiated on a device identified as the object. If the person is holding an item, the user interface is automatically placed in a state that displays the item details and pricing within the user interface and provides a link to all item descriptions in possession of the user within the frictionless store along with a running price total of all the items. If the person is not holding any item, the user interface is automatically placed in a state that displays item details and pricing within the user interface to all item descriptions in possession of the user within the frictionless store along with a running price of all items.

  • Publication number: 20220033879
Abstract: The current invention pertains to a method for the enrichment of a target nucleic acid fragment from a nucleic acid sample, comprising the steps of cleaving the nucleic acid sample with a first and a second RNA guided or DNA guided endonuclease complex, preferably a first and a second gRNA-CAS complex, thereby generating the target nucleic acid fragment and at least one non-target nucleic acid fragment. The generated fragments are subsequently contacted with an exonuclease, wherein the exonuclease digests only the non-target nucleic acid fragments. The invention further pertains to the use of the enriched target nucleic acid fragments for preparing an adapter ligated target nucleic acid fragment and for sequencing the target nucleic acid fragment.

  • Publication number: 20210356677
Abstract: A connector including two connector portions each including a ferrule and a latch, each latch including a distal end, and a proximal end, wherein the latch is pivotable about an intermediate connection portion; and a boot mounted to the connector portions, the boot movable longitudinally relative to the connector portions, wherein the boot causes the distal ends of the latch to pivot toward the ferrule of each connector portion as the boot is moved away from the connector portions. Front housings of the connector portions can each be rotated about the longitudinal axis of the ferrule without rotating the ferrule or the boot, to change the polarity of the two connector portions. The spacing between the two ferrules is adjustable. A holder holds the connector portions, the holder including side slots, the connector portions mounted to the holder by moving laterally to the side slots. The holder defines an area for receipt of a fiber optic cable when the ferrule is pushed in a direction toward the boot.
