  • Publication number: 20210108442
Abstract: A component for use in a locking device such as a door lock or a padlock or bike lock that uses a shackle is disclosed. The component includes a body and a pair of rotatable plugs which sit within a cylinder of the body. One plug is connected to a handle and the other is connected to a lock release mechanism. A bridge selectively connects and releases the first and second plugs and an actuator, cooperating with biasing devices, is used to determine whether the bridge is in a connecting or releasing condition. This is in turn determines whether the component is acting to operate the lock in a locked or an unlocked condition.

  • Patent number: 8127008
Abstract: A method is disclosed for determining a location of a client session in a telecommunications network by comparing attributes of the client session connection to location definition information stored in a configuration file. A method of handling requests from proxy and non-proxy client connections in a telecommunications network by redirecting requests from unauthenticated proxy clients to a transparent proxy port on a captive portal such that the captive portal proxies the requests is also disclosed. The request may be directed to a service, such as a destination IP address and optional port number. A method for a proxy server to identify an edge session through an out-of-band request containing proxy metadata to a web portal for secure (HTTPS) requests is also disclosed. The edge session is identified for the web portal through a hostkey determined by the proxy server.

  • Patent number: 7724549
Abstract: A device for conditioning power delivered to operate a motor is disclosed. The device includes a sealed housing having at least one input terminal extending through the housing and configured to receive an input power and at least one output terminal extending through the housing and configured to deliver an output power conditioned to power a motor coupled to the output terminal. The device also includes a filter inductor arranged in the housing and that has an input configured to receive the input power from the input terminal. The filter inductor output terminal has a tap that is extended through the housing to allow coupling of various external filter components, such as resistors capacitors and inductors. Accordingly, the filter inductor is configured to suppress voltage changes in the input power and deliver a filtered power to an output of the filter inductor.
