  • Publication number: 20220289116
Abstract: A truck body with an enclosure assembly that has a plurality of storage compartments with doors each movable between an open position that provides access to respective storage compartments and a closed position that prevents access to that storage compartment. The enclosure assembly includes at least one hidden hinge coupled with at least a portion of the doors to pivot the door between the open/closed positions. There are door flanges surrounding the openings of the storage compartments that, in some embodiments, include: (i) a longitudinally-extending channel dimensioned to receive a mounting portion of the at least one hidden hinge; and (ii) a rim configured to receive a seal.

  • Patent number: 10654666
Abstract: A separating system (1) comprises a housing (60) sized to receive a stack of articles having at least one first article (12) stacked on top of a second article (10). The system (1) also includes a lifter (20) movable into a contact position adjacent a surface (13) on the at least one first article (12). The lifter (20) is adapted to apply a lifting force to the surface (13) to lift at least a portion of the first article (12) above the contact position. An extractor (40) moves the second article (10) away from the stack of articles after the at least one first article (12) has been lifted above the contact position by the lifter (20). The housing (60) prevents the at least one first article (12) from moving with the second article (10) when the second article (10) is moved by the extractor (40) and guides the stack of articles downward after the second article (10) is moved away.

  • Publication number: 20170374395
Abstract: Apparatus and methods are developed that facilitate the control and streaming of multiple video streams. The apparatus and methods may include a video management system (VMS) that includes a VMS server device, a VMS client device, and a VMS graphical user interface (GUI) device. The VMS server device may be configured to receive multiple video streams and store them in memory. The VMS GUI device may be configured to provide commands to the VMS client device relating to the video streams accessible by the VMS server device. The VMS GUI device may also query a VMS server device for available video streams or for metadata related to a particular video stream. The VMS client device may be configured to receive the commands from the VMS GUI device and transmit commands to the VMS server device based on the commands received from the VMS GUI device.

  • Publication number: 20150379232
Abstract: Diagnostic computer systems and diagnostic user interfaces. Embodiments include displaying user interface elements for receiving a diagnosis a medical condition, and receiving the identity of a diagnosis of a particular medical condition. A plurality of treatment options for the particular medical condition are dynamically identified from one or more databases, and a particular treatment option is selected. A care plan data structure is built, which identifies interactive content related to the particular diagnosis and/or the particular treatment option, and questions related to the particular diagnosis and/or the particular treatment option. The care plan data structure is sent to a server computer system, which causes the server computer system to send a notification of the care plan to a patient computer system. One ore more care plan responses are received, including the identity of interactive content viewed at the patient computer system and response to the questions.

  • Publication number: 20150046174
Abstract: Embodiments herein are directed to user interfaces and methodologies for computer-aided medical diagnosing and prescriptions. In one embodiment, a user interface is presented, which includes a selectable menu option for each of a plurality of content types. Each selectable menu option is configured to present medical content relevant to the corresponding content type, when selected. Based on user input entered in connection with navigating the content types, one or more content items are identified as part of a prescription, and a selectable user interface element is presented for sending of the prescription to a patient computer system. Other embodiments include creating and modifying prescriptions based on evaluation questions. In one embodiment, medical content is added to a prescription based on the user's answer to an evaluation question. In another embodiment, a prescription is modified based on a user's answer to an evaluation question.

  • Patent number: 7010781
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for providing replacement functions for a set of system services include requesting a primitive function from one of the set of system services, the primitive function replicating the one of the set of system services with reduced functionality. A reference to the requested primitive function is then sent from the one of the set of system services.

  • Patent number: 6941522
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for providing a progress associated with an executing process are disclosed. A progress report is generated in a progress reporting language, the progress reporting language indicating a progress of one or more steps in the executing process. The progress report is then provided to a user interface mechanism capable of interpreting the progress reporting language, where the user interface mechanism is adapted for generating a user interface indicating the progress of the one or more steps in the executing process. The user interface mechanism receives the progress report, ascertains the progress of the steps in the executing process from the progress report, and generates a user interface indicating the progress of the steps in the executing process.

  • Publication number: 20040054987
Abstract: A file monitoring and auditing system for dynamically tracking and auditing files in a user level file system in a computer network system. The file monitoring and auditing system includes logic that allows a programmer to “privately” define file entries in a target computer system and to determine what file level changes have occurred on the target system relative to a known baseline file information. A file auditing logic tracks file discrepancies during a file audit capture period and reports these discrepancies in the form of file manifests to the programmer. Each file manifest comprises header information and file entries of all the files designated for auditing.

  • Patent number: 6553490
Abstract: A local computer stores a current program such as an operating system or an application. A network server stores a latest program which is a latest version of the current program, and an identifier program for generating an identification corresponding to the latest program upon interrogation. An updater program is alternatively stored on the local computer or the network server for causing the latest program to be transferred from the network server to the local computer and replace the current computer program. The current program and the latest program each include a startup program configured to interrogate the identifier program, determine if the identification corresponds to the current program, and if the identification does not correspond to the current program, run the updater program.

  • Patent number: 5953010
Abstract: A computer system program including an operating system and a plurality of system service modules generates a number of status messages representing selected milestone events while it is being loaded and run, including progress advisories and technical advisories. User-friendly icons are displayed on a display monitor in response to the progress advisories, indicating which milestone event is occurring and how much of the event has been completed. If there is a failure in loading the system program, a user can provide service personnel with an accurate evaluation of the system condition by reporting which icon was displayed last on the monitor. Technical advisories such as audit records which are not relevant to a user are stored as entries in a silent log for possible later use by service personnel.
