  • Publication number: 20230364601
Abstract: The invention is a high-throughput voltage screening crystallographic device and methodology that uses multiple micro wells and electric circuits capable of assaying different crystallization condition for the same or different proteins of interest at the same of different voltages under a humidity and temperature controlled environment. The protein is solubilized in a lipid matrix similar to the lipid composition of the protein in the native environment to ensure stability of the protein during crystallization. The invention provides a system and method where the protein is transferred to a lipid matrix that holds a resting membrane potential, which reduces the degree of conformational freedom of the protein. The invention overcomes the majority of the difficulties associated with vapor diffusion techniques and essentially reconstitutes the protein in its native lipid environment under “cuasi” physiological conditions.

  • Publication number: 20230355171
Abstract: A system automatically calculates drug infusion applicable to a patient to induce a satisfactory anesthetic state during surgery. The automatic calculation system would be determined by target values of physiological monitors to evaluate the patient's condition. Automatic infusion increases patient safety, reducing post-surgical morbidity and mortality, and reduces continuous decision-making by the specialist. An electronic system implements a MIMO-PID controller that calculates the infusion of various drugs on the basis of a control error defined by deviations in the patient's condition, which is analyzed by several monitors. The automatic drug infusions are determined by safety systems for preventing under and/or over infusion events and are complemented with correction and feedback systems.

  • Patent number: 11746207
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing particles with pore structures, by means of a hybrid process of atomization via drying-cooling, from a water-in-oil-type emulsion of a composition of a non-solubilized and in melt state matrix. The production method comprises: i) forming a water-in-oil-type emulsion consisting of a composition of a solvent that is aqueous or soluble in water (dispersed phase) and a composition of a non-solubilized and in melt state matrix (continuous phase); ii) forming discrete particles from the emulsion via atomization, using a flow of gas at high pressure and temperature; iii) immediately removing the solvent via evaporation; and iv) subsequently cooling the formed discrete particles, resulting in porous particles that are substantially free from solvents.

  • Publication number: 20230276251
Abstract: The present invention relates to a system and method for calculating spare capacity in a Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) communication network at sector and network level. The capacity is measured in terms of sellable customers, that is, the number of Customer Premises Equipment (CPEs) that can be connected to a sector in order to deliver a minimum guaranteed downlink speed at a busy hour to each user. Using the available technical assets, business requirements (installation metrics, guaranteed speed, sales rate, CPE categories) and the performance of each individual sector and customer (cell and user delivered throughputs, radio quality of existing customers, activity ratio of existing customers), the present invention enables accurate estimation of the remaining number of sellable customer premise equipment, and to identify capacity bottlenecks, forecast capacity expansions and plan marketing campaigns or promotions.

  • Patent number: 11703999
Abstract: This disclosure describes a system that enables a user to efficiently view messages of a conversation that are more relevant to the user. The system is configured to display content of a first application within an application user interface (UI) and to determine that a message of a second application being monitored includes a trigger feature that comprises a piece of information or an interaction from another user that is worthy of the user's attention. The system can then generate a visual notification for the trigger feature. The visual notification can be displayed in association with a graphical element of the application UI. Upon receiving an indication of a selection of the visual notification, the system can switch from displaying the content of the first application to displaying the message of the second application and trigger feature and/or change visual characteristics associated with the message to bring focus to the message.
