  • Publication number: 20210044606
Abstract: Using a set of anomalies indicative of a malicious pattern of behavior collected from data to determine new alerts for anomalies included in subsequently collected data. A set of anomalies found in data collected from data sources is accessed. The set of anomalies is determined by a prior analysis to be indicative of a malicious pattern of behavior by entities associated with the set of anomalies. Data that is subsequently collected from the data sources is searched to determine if any of the data includes the set of anomalies. Alerts are generated for any of the subsequently collected data that includes the set of anomalies.

  • Patent number: 10882522
Abstract: System, methods, and other embodiments described herein relate to modeling dynamic agents in a surrounding environment of an ego vehicle. In one embodiment, a method includes, in response to receiving sensor data including present observations of a road agent of the dynamic agents in the surrounding environment, identifying previous observations of the road agent from an electronic data store. The method includes estimating a future state of the road agent using at least the present observations and the previous observations of the road agent to compute the future state according to a probabilistic model comprised of a transition model that accounts for dynamic behaviors of the road agent to characterize transitions between states, and an agent model that accounts for actions of the road agent. The method includes controlling one or more vehicle systems of the ego vehicle according to the future state of the road agent.

  • Publication number: 20200408422
Abstract: Embodiments are disclosed of a radiator temperature control apparatus for controlling the heat output of a radiator. The radiator temperature control apparatus may include an airtight enclosure around the air outlet of the radiator air vent, an adjustable opening in the airtight enclosure controlled by an actuator, and a controller connected to the actuator. In operation, the controller can be configured to open the adjustable opening in the airtight enclosure allowing air in the radiator to be expelled through the adjustable opening, thereby allowing steam to enter the radiator, and heat the room. The controller can be configured to close the adjustable opening, stopping air from being expelled from the radiator, thereby stopping additional steam from entering the radiator.

  • Patent number: 10800625
Abstract: Media skew correction is performed by determining a leading edge skew value for the media and selecting a respective media model from a memory for a media type, each media model including a paired slope and an intercept. Based on the paired slope and intercept for the respective media model, differential velocity of a pair of aligned media feed rollers in a media feed mechanism is adjusted to correct a trailing edge skew for the media to within a desired operational window.

  • Publication number: 20200310881
Abstract: System and methods for automatically scaling compute resources in a compute group. The method includes determining compute capacity required to complete job requests and determining allocable compute capacity available on the compute resources in the compute group. The method further includes calculating a utilization of the compute group based on the required compute capacity and allocable compute capacity and determining whether the calculated utilization is above a first threshold value or below a second threshold value; upon determining that the calculated utilization is above the first threshold value the method calculates a number of compute resources required to bring the utilization below the first threshold value and causes an increase in the number of compute resources in the compute group based on the calculated number. Upon determining that the calculated utilization falls below the second threshold value the method causes a reduction in the number of active compute resources.

  • Patent number: 10744395
Abstract: An athletic glove is provided, comprising a palm portion and a digit portion having a plurality of generally hollow digit sleeves extending from the palm portion. Each of the generally hollow digit sleeves is configured to generally confine a respective digit of a wearer. Spacers are provided between the generally hollow digit sleeves and generally maintain a predetermined abduction of the digits upon a relaxation of the wearer's hand, while generally permitting an adduction of the plurality of digits upon a predetermined adductive force exerted by the wearer. The spacers comprise a generally rigid member having a predetermined compressibility. The generally hollow digit sleeves may be closed or open at a distal end thereof. The palm portion may be a flexible fabric and a fitment apparatus selectively tightens the palm portion on a hand of the wearer. One or more padding portions may be further configured to distribute a force experienced by the wearer upon engagement with a ball.

  • Publication number: 20200246612
Abstract: Example systems, apparatuses, methods, and computer program products are disclosed for electroporating cells in a tissue using a set of voltage pulses generated by capacitor charge circuitry based on a voltage supply. An example method includes continuously monitoring a set of characteristics of the voltage supply and the set of voltage pulses; generating a first set of monitor signals based on the set of characteristics; detecting a first fault condition based on the first set of monitor signals; and generating a first crowbar trigger activation signal. The example computer method further includes: detecting a second fault condition based on a second set of monitor signals generated based on the first set of monitor signals; and generating a second crowbar trigger activation signal. Subsequently, the example computer method includes electrically disconnecting the capacitor charge circuitry from electroporation electrode circuitry based on either the first or second crowbar trigger activation signal.
