  • Publication number: 20220257427
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods for assembling elastomeric laminates, wherein elastic material may be stretched and joined with either or both first and second substrates. First spools are rotated to unwind first elastic strands from a first unwinder in a machine direction. The first elastic strands are positioned between the first substrate and the second substrate to form an elastomeric laminate. Before the first elastic strands are completely unwound from the rotating first spools, second spools are rotated to unwind second elastic strands from a second unwinder. Subsequently, the advancement of the first elastic strands from the first unwinder is discontinued. Thus, the elastomeric laminate assembly process may continue uninterrupted while switching from an initially utilized elastic material drawn from the first spools to a subsequently utilized elastic material drawn from the second spools.

  • Patent number: 11337087
Abstract: A method, system and computer-readable medium where a weighted composite quality index having a plurality of components for a network element is identified. A historical baseline value from historical data for each component is determined, and a deviation from the historical baseline values is measured. A risk level for the deviation is assigned. A loss score for the measured components is computed by mapping the risk level to a numerical score. An aggregated risk score based on a sum of weighted risk scores for each of the components is computed. An expected risk score based on probabilities associated with the aggregated risk score is determined by computing future probabilities of each risk level at the network element based on a trained machine learning model.

  • Publication number: 20220091071
Abstract: A method for evaluating a target, the target having a surface, includes pulsing a defined, energetic particle beam through the surface and into the target such that particle energy deposition from the particle beam is concentrated in a subsurface target volume within a target medium of the target. The deposited particle energy induces a thermoelastic expansion of the target medium in the target volume that generates a corresponding acoustic wave. The method further includes detecting the acoustic wave from the target medium.
