  • Publication number: 20170292999
Abstract: The present disclosure is a transformer monitoring system that has a transformer monitoring device that reads a measurement on at least one node of a transformer. Additionally, the system has a processor that analyzes the measurement and compares the measurement to a threshold value. In addition, the processor transmits an alert to utility personnel if the comparison indicates that the system is not operating properly.

  • Patent number: 7949615
Abstract: A system and method manage delivery of energy from a distribution network to one or more sites. Each site has at least one device coupled to the distribution network. The at least one device controllably consumes energy. The system includes a node and a control system. The node is coupled to the at least one device for sensing and controlling energy delivered to the device. A control system is coupled to the node and distribution network for delivering to the node at least one characteristic of the distribution network. The node for controls the supply of energy to the device as a function of the at least one characteristic.

  • Publication number: 20080217419
Abstract: A communicating environmental control system for a dwelling or building is provided. The environmental control system is intended for use in a dwelling which may be unoccupied for a long period of time, e.g., months. The control system operates in an economy mode to prevent damage to the dwelling and its contents by avoiding condensation of moisture within the dwelling. At the same time, the control system minimizes operating costs by running more when energy costs are lower and running less when energy costs are higher. The control system switches to a comfort mode when the dwelling occupants return. The control system is in communication with a remote owner, a remote utility, or a remote service provider, or more than one of these, through the Internet or other communication system.
