  • Publication number: 20220017040
Abstract: The present invention relates to a trailer landing gear leg lock device that prevents the unauthorized retraction of a trailer landing gear leg to prevent a trailer from being stolen. The lock device is further comprised of two hinge-connected halves that can be placed around the landing gear leg of a trailer, wherein the halves can then be locked together via a locking mechanism. In differing embodiments of the lock device, the locking mechanism may be secured by a plurality of housings and compartments, as well a plurality of additional locks and lock covers. The device may further comprise a plurality of other theft resistant devices and accessories.

  • Patent number: 7966950
Abstract: A shelf assembly is for carrying goods on a rear seat of a vehicle. The shelf assembly includes a base, a pair of front legs, and a pair rear legs. The base includes a first and a second section. The base, which is for resting on the rear seat, has a front and a rear portion opposing the front portion. The rear legs extend from the rear portion of the sections of the base for supporting the base on the rear seat of the vehicle. A section hinge pivotally connects the first section and the second for folding the first section relative to the second section at the section hinge. A pair of front legs and a pair of rear legs are adapted to extend from the front portion of the sections of the base to support the base on a floor of the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20060084551
Abstract: Described is a motivational fitness device, which controls the audio output of a television or audio component in response to the heart rate. The user must exercise in their specific heart rate target training range to keep their entertainment device turned on at an enjoyable volume. A heart rate sensing device relays heart rate to a processor unit. The processor receives and compares the user's heart rate to the specified target range and sends control signals (or not) to the entertainment device. If the user's heart rate drops below the target range, the volume of the audio output of their entertainment device will gradually decrease until the user reacquires their target. Conversely, if the user is exercising too vigorously, the volume will increase, motivating the user to reacquire their target heart rate range.

  • Publication number: 20030092730
Abstract: Methods and compositions for modulating brain damage mediated by non-NMDA ionotropic glutamate receptor antagonists are provided. Methods for inhibiting neuronal cell damage and death in the brain following an injury (e.g., ischemic/hypoxic injury) and methods for inhibiting cell damage and death in conditions such as periventricular leukomalacia, cerebral palsy, mental retardation, and neonatal stroke, are also provided. These methods generally involve treating a subject with a non-NMDA ionotropic glutamate receptor antagonist. Pharmaceutical and packaged formulations that include non-NMDA ionotropic glutamate receptor antagonists are also provided.

  • Patent number: 6267818
Abstract: An applicator assembly is provided for depositing various kinds of viscous, spreadable media onto workpieces, such as circuit boards and metal and ceramic substrates, and includes a blade structure having a metal blade portion and a plastic blade portion joined together along one of their respective longitudinal edges. The blade structure is removably attachable to a blade holder and is reversible so that the metal blade can be secured to the blade holder which is mounted to a screen and stencil printer, thus exposing the plastic blade portion for use in screen and stencil printing operations. Alternatively, the blade structure can be secured to the blade holder thereby exposing the metal blade portion for use in screen and stencil printing operations.

  • Patent number: 5660632
Abstract: An apparatus for spreading and depositing a viscous liquid or paste-like material on a substrate includes a housing removably insertable into a diamond- or square-shaped squeegee blade holder, the blade holder itself mounted to a squeegee head assembly of a screen or stencil printer. The squeegee head assembly is driven in a linear direction over and above the substrate, dragging the blade over the substrate and forcing deposition of the material onto the substrate. The housing includes a pair of oppositely-disposed locking clamps that attach to both ends of the housing. A shaft having a blade secured thereto is disposed through the channels of the clamps and within a groove of the housing, and the shaft is rotatable within the housing and the locking clamps so that the angle of attack between the blade and substrate can be selectively adjusted and, once the appropriate angle of application is selected, the blade is fixed in position by tightening the clamps against the shaft.
