Abstract: An electronic conference support system having a structure in which one main common information processing apparatus having a common display unit having a size sufficiently large for attendants to commonly look and some personal information processing apparatuses for permitting each attendant to exclusively create, display and edit information adjacent to each attendant are connected to one another to form a network communication structure through a data communication passage. When a certain attendant acquires an operation right, an information input space is displayed on the personal display unit of the attendant while permitting the attendant to input information. Information inputted to the information input space is, after completed and as an information object, displayed on the common display unit of the common information processing apparatus and the personal display units of all of the personal information processing apparatuses.

Abstract: A communication support system includes a caller ID detection unit which detects a caller ID sent from a telephone network upon incoming of a call. A line switching unit switches on a first line between a voice signal path from a telephone set and a voice signal path from the telephone network before the connection between the telephone set and the telephone network is established. The line switching unit switches off the first line and switches on a second line between the voice signal path from the telephone set and a voice signal path from a data processing device after the caller ID is detected by the caller ID detection unit. The data processing device has a main control unit which retrieves a caller profile from a database in response to the caller ID detected by the caller ID detection unit, and transmits a. synthesized voice signal indicating the caller profile to the telephone set through the second line when the line switching unit switches on the second line.

Abstract: An information management system includes a server connected to a network 1 so as to manage and communicate information related to users. The information managing/communication system includes a user information storage device, user information management device, object compiling device, update notification device, request processing device, object storage device, output device, and object changing device. When a change is made in the user information stored in the user information storage device, the update notification device notifies the occurrence of the change and also an attribute of the changed user information to the other users who previously received the user information. The user then updates the relevant user information object of the object storage device based upon the notification.

Abstract: The scroll synchronizing system has a moving amount acquiring unit for acquiring a screen area to be moved and its moving amount, when the screen of an application program moves, a drawing information control unit for controlling the information of the drawing object, and an application executing unit for judging the drawing object to be moved according to the information acquired by the moving amount acquiring unit, sequentially updating the information in the drawing information control unit of the drawing object to be moved, and redrawing the drawing object to be moved. The drawing object drawn on the general application program is synchronized with the change of the screen of the general application program.

Abstract: A communication support system includes a predetermined signal detection unit which detects a predetermined signal sent by a telephone unit when a telephone call between the telephone unit and a telephone network is in progress. A telephone condition detection unit detects a condition of the telephone unit. A line unit disconnects the telephone unit from the telephone network and connects the telephone unit to a data processing device when the predetermined signal is detected. A voice recognition unit determines which of a plurality of telephone services is indicated by a voice command signal sent by the telephone unit when the telephone unit is disconnected from the telephone network and connected to the data processing device.
