  • Publication number: 20240408897
Abstract: A drying device for blowing air on a sheet on which an image is formed by discharging ink and for drying the sheet includes a conveyance belt, first and second blowing units. The first blowing unit includes a plurality of first blowout holes, and the second blowing unit disposed adjacent to downstream of the first blowing unit in a sheet conveyance direction includes a plurality of second blowout holes. When a pitch between of the plurality of the first blowout holes, a first hole and a second hole downstream of the first hole and closest to the first hole in the sheet conveyance direction is a first pitch, a second pitch between a downstreammost hole of the plurality of the first blowout holes and an upstreammost hole of the plurality of the second blowout holes in the sheet conveyance direction is not more than the first pitch.

  • Publication number: 20240409345
Abstract: A sheet conveyance apparatus configured to convey a sheet includes a casing, a belt unit, an accommodating unit, a moving unit, and a rotary member. The accommodating unit and the belt unit move to a first state, a second state, and a third state. In the first state, the accommodating unit is positioned at a closed position and the belt unit is positioned at a first position to convey the sheet by a conveyance belt. In the second state, the accommodating unit is positioned at an opening position and the belt unit is positioned at the first position to open a sheet conveyance path. In the third state, the accommodating unit is positioned at the opening position and the belt unit is positioned at a second position to allow the conveyance belt to attach to and detach from the belt unit.

  • Publication number: 20240408898
Abstract: An inkjet recording apparatus includes a drying device for drying a sheet by blowing air. The drying device includes a first duct with a suction opening for sucking air outside, a second duct with a blowing hole through which the air sucked from the suction opening is blown toward the sheet, a heater for heating air inside of the second duct; and a first fan for sending the air from the suction opening to the blowing hole. The suction opening is provided on a front side of the inkjet recording apparatus with respect to the second duct. The first duct forms a first flow passage of air flowing on the front side with respect to the second duct, and a second flow passage of air flowing downstream of the first flow passage in a flowing direction from the suction opening to the blowing hole and above the second duct.

  • Publication number: 20240391256
Abstract: A drying device for drying a sheet on which an image is formed by discharged ink includes a conveyance portion, a fan; a duct guiding an air blown from the fan to the conveyed sheet and a heater heating the air in the duct. The duct includes a plurality of nozzles blowing the air in the duct to the conveyed sheet, a first surface provided with the plurality of nozzles; a second surface opposing the first surface; and a recess portion formed along a conveyance direction of the sheet. In a widthwise direction, the recess portion is provided between a first nozzle and a second nozzle, of the plurality of nozzles, and the second nozzle is disposed side by side with the first nozzle.

  • Publication number: 20240391255
Abstract: A drying device includes a sheet conveyance portion, a warm air blowing portion disposed above and opposite to the sheet conveyance portion and to blow a warm air from a nozzle on the sheet. A first casing accommodates the warm air blowing portion and a second casing accommodates the sheet conveyance portion. The first casing is movable to a closed position opposite to the sheet conveyance portion and an open position for opening the sheet conveyance portion. The first casing positioned in the closed position moves to the open position by being moved upward to the second casing in a vertical direction, and the warm air blowing portion is movable to the first casing in the vertical direction in a state in which the first casing is positioned in the open position.
