  • Patent number: 8933684
Abstract: A voltage generator includes a first transistor, a second transistor, an operational amplifier, a capacitor, a third transistor, a fourth transistor and a first resistor. The operational amplifier includes a first terminal coupled to a second terminal of the first transistor, and a second terminal coupled to a second terminal of the second transistor. The capacitor is coupled between an output terminal of the operational amplifier and a ground terminal. The third transistor is coupled to the first transistor and the output terminal of the operational amplifier. The fourth transistor is coupled to the second transistor, the output terminal of the operational amplifier and the ground terminal. The first resistor is utilized for generating a complementary to absolute temperature voltage according to a voltage difference between a gate-source voltage of the third transistor and a gate-source voltage of the fourth transistor.

  • Patent number: 8540402
Abstract: An illustrative thermally managed light includes a light source, for example an LED array, a heatsink having a tapered outer surface, the light source thermally coupled with the heatsink, a housing having a tapered interior surface portion, and a securing device coupling the heatsink and the rear end of the housing. The securing device, for example a tensioning device, adapted to retain the outer surface of the heatsink in thermal contact with the tapered interior surface of the housing, thus transferring and dissipating the heat from the light source into the environment around the housing.

  • Publication number: 20120273167
Abstract: A loop heat pipe structure includes an evaporator and a first pipe. The evaporator has a first chamber, a first wick layer, and a bottom. The first wick layer is provided in the first chamber. The first pipe includes a first inlet and a first outlet communicably connected to the evaporator. The first inlet internally defines a second chamber communicable with the first wick layer. By providing the second chamber outside the evaporator, the evaporator can have a reduced overall height without creating very high vapor pressure in the evaporator, enabling the loop heat pipe structure to have upgraded heat dissipation efficiency.

  • Publication number: 20120247736
Abstract: A loop heat pipe structure includes a transport pipe, an evaporator, a first wick layer, a second wick layer, and a plurality of grooves. The transport pipe communicates with the evaporator. The evaporator has a bottom and internally defines a first chamber and a second chamber, and has a working fluid filled therein. The first wick layer is located on the bottom, and the second wick layer is located on and covers the first wick layer. The grooves can be selectively provided on the first wick layer or the bottom. The first and second wick layers are so designed that the situation of very high vapor pressure would not occur in the second chamber, enabling the loop heat pipe structure to have upgraded heat dissipation efficiency.

  • Publication number: 20060224879
Abstract: A method for starting an operating system rapidly by a hotkey includes the steps of: setting a hotkey for each operating system; executing a BIOS power on self test program; determining whether any hotkey has been pressed during execution of the power on self test program; activating a disk partition section which stores an operating system corresponding to a hotkey if the hotkey has been pressed; loading a master boot record; starting the operating system stored in the activated disk partition section.

  • Publication number: 20060089999
Abstract: Various embodiments are described to provide wireless download services that are more robust than those currently available. Signaling between and among the user equipment (UE) (101) obtaining download service, one or more IMS (IP multimedia subsystem) servers (151), and the download server (161) from which the content is obtained enable an improved level of service. Some improvements that may be realized include guaranteed QoS levels for content downloads, user selection of QoS (in real-time and per content request, possibly), flexible pricing options (e.g., per session, content-based, QoS-based billing), and authentication on a per-content basis.

  • Publication number: 20060055601
Abstract: A laminated dielectric block (3) is formed by laminating dielectric sheets (31) each having a conductive film formed on its one surface so as to constitute at least one filter (2). A radiation element (1) is provided so as to fix to the laminating dielectric block, wherein one electrode of the filter is electrically connected to the radiation element. The other electrode (22) of the filter is connected to a feeding terminal electrode (4) provided mounting face B (a face opposing to a circuit board) of the laminated dielectric block through a via-contact (33) and a wiring (34), not being exposed to the side face. As a result, an antenna with built-in filter of the structure where even if it is mounted on a circuit board, interference between an electronic circuit on the circuit board and the feeding terminal electrode of the antenna is prevented to improve the isolation characteristic and transmitting or receiving characteristic.

  • Patent number: 6917613
Abstract: A method of delivering data and real-time media from a first mobile terminal to a second mobile terminal when the data is transferred through a packet-switched network, and the real-time media is transferred through a circuit-switched network. The real-time media is passed from the first mobile terminal to the second mobile terminal in a circuit-switched call, and the data is passed in a packet-switched data session. The second mobile terminal associates the circuit-switched call with the data session using binding information, such as an identifier of the first mobile terminal, passed to the second mobile terminal from the first mobile terminal. The real-time media and the data are then presented simultaneously to a user of the second mobile terminal.
