  • Patent number: 8040309
Abstract: A display panel with image sticking elimination circuit is provided. The image sticking elimination circuit can be applied in a display unit comprising a plurality of pixel units driven by a gate driving circuit and a data driving circuit. The gate driving circuit is driven by a first voltage and a second voltage. The first voltage turns on the pixel units for receiving data signals and the second voltage turns off the pixel units for preventing the pixel units from receiving data signals. A switch is coupled between a data line driven by the data driving circuit and an ESD circuit. The image sticking elimination circuit is charged by the first voltage and the charged power is output to turn on the switch and the pixel units when abnormal power shut down occurs.

  • Patent number: 7439947
Abstract: A LCD panel driving circuit for controlling a LCD panel, the LCD panel comprising display units respectively connected to corresponding data and gate electrodes. The LCD panel driving circuit comprises a data driver, a first gate driver, and a second gate driver. The data driver outputs a video signal to the data electrodes, and determines the video signal polarity according to a polar control signal. The first gate driver is coupled to a first terminal of each gate electrode for output of a pulse signal to the corresponding gate electrodes. The second gate driver is coupled to a second terminal of each gate electrode for output of the pulse signal to the corresponding gate electrodes. The first gate driver and second gate driver determine whether the pulse signal is output according to an external clock signal and an internally shifted signal.

  • Patent number: 6903369
Abstract: A liquid crystal display panel having a display region and a non-display region is provided. The non-display region of the liquid crystal panel comprises a plurality of driver chip joining regions and a plurality of flexible printed circuit bonding regions. There are several groups of circuit lines connecting various driver chip joining regions and flexible printed circuit bonding regions. The ends of the circuit lines connected to the driver chip joining region are the input terminals. Furthermore, each group of circuit lines has a plurality of sub-lines for controlling the pixels of different colors. Among the sub-lines of neighboring circuit lines, the sub-lines at the input terminal for controlling identical color pixels are set up in pairs adjacent to each other. Hence, the resistance-capacitance loading of the liquid crystal display panel is raised and the image quality is improved without incurring greater manpower or manufacturing cost.
