Abstract: Provided are an apparatus and a method for processing a ringtone in a wireless terminal. Position data of sound source samples corresponding to ringtone contents are extracted in advance and then used to play the ringtone. Musical score data are parsed from ringtone contents, and position data of the sound source samples corresponding to the parsed musical score data are extracted and stored in a database. Instead of parsing the sound source samples each time, by storing the position data of the sound source samples corresponding to the musical score data in a database, system load can be reduced during a real time playback of a ringtone.

Abstract: Provided are an apparatus and a method for processing MIDI in a wireless terminal capable of controlling a volume of sound source samples when the MIDI is played. According to the method, a plurality of notes, volume levels, volume section information, and note playback duration information are extracted from an inputted MIDI file. After a volume sample number in each section is calculated using the extracted volume level and the volume section information, a volume of the sound source samples that correspond to a note that is to be played is controlled using the volume sample numbers. Next, frequency of the sound source samples are converted to a frequency assigned to the notes and the sound source samples are outputted, reducing a system load caused by the real-time play of the MIDI.

Abstract: An apparatus and a method for synthesizing a MIDI based on a wave table are provided. According to the method, sound samples of a plurality of instruments stored in a wave table are compressed and stored so as to reduce the storage space required by the wave table. Bit streams for the samples are decoded to synthesize a MIDI when a specific instrument's sound samples are requested.

A polymer mixture including a) polyvinylidene fluoride-based polymer and b) at least one polymer selected from the group consisting of polyacrylonitrile and polymethyl methacrylate is mixed with a solvent in which a lithium salt is dissolved. The mixing ratio of the polymer mixture and the solvent is about 1:3-10. Thus obtained first mixture is heated to obtain a polymer electrolyte composition. And this polymer electrolyte composition is coated onto a first electrode which is one of an anode and a cathode, and then dried to obtain a polymer electrolyte layer. Then, a second electrode which is a remaining one of the anode and cathode is attached onto the polymer electrolyte layer. The polymer electrolyte has a good mechanical strength and the lithium secondary battery has a stable charge/discharge characteristic.

Abstract: Disclosed are a method of preparing a polymer electrolyte composition and a method of manufacturing a lithium secondary battery employing the same. A polymer mixture including a) a polymer mixture including polyvinylidene fluoride-based polymer and b) at least one polymer selected from the group consisting of polyacrylonitrile and polymethyl methacrylate are mixed with a solvent in which a lithium salt is dissolved. The mixing ratio of the polymer mixture and the solvent is 1: 3-10. Thus obtained first mixture is stirred at a room temperature for 1-48 hours. Then, thus obtained second mixture is heated at 60-250° C. for 5 minutes-6 hours while stirring to prepare a polymer electrolyte composition. This composition is coated on at least one substrate selected from a group consisting of a molded film, an anode and a cathode and then dried. The polymer electrolyte has a good mechanical strength and the lithium secondary battery has a stable charge/discharge characteristic and a high capacity.

The present invention configures a histogram that a relatively important bin comes at the lead of the access when accessing histogram data for retrieving the multimedia and retrieves multimedia data by using the progressive histogram. According to the present invention, there are several advantages that a high retrieval capacity can be guaranteed even though only front part in the order of transfer of the histogram is used and the efficiency and capacity of retrieval can be enhanced by using a progressive histogram optimized according to the feature at every multimedia.
