  • Publication number: 20100299163
Abstract: A customer recognition method and system using a mobile phone is provided. When a customer enters a communication area of an access point (AP) of a service provider, the AP communicates with a Bluetooth communication device of the customer's mobile phone, searches for BDA information of the customer, and transmits the BDA information to a local search server. The local search server extracts valid information of the customer and transmits the extracted information to a central server. The central server confirms reservation information on the customer, determines attendant information, creates customer recognition information by linking the customer information and the attendant information, and transmits the customer recognition information to an attendant of the service provider. A terminal of the attendant of the service provider receives the customer recognition information and externally displays the customer information so that the attendant of the service provider may use the customer information.

  • Patent number: 5960860
Abstract: This invention relates to a water temperature control device for a cooling system having a reduced number of parts. The water temperature control device circulates cooling water to a water pump through either a radiator or a bypass line depending on the temperature of the cooling water from the water jacket of automobile engine. The water temperature control device provides an improved thermostat seal and prevents piston release of a pellet assembly. The invention comprises a water temperature control device having a case main body formed with a cooling water inlet, a cooling water outlet and a bypass outlet. A valve means is elastically mounted by a spring supported to a frame within the interior of the case main body. A dome type bridge, which holds a front end of the piston of the thermostat, is formed at the interior of the water cooling outlet of the case main body. The front end portion is passed through a pierced hole at the bridge top portion.

  • Patent number: 5894834
Abstract: A cooling system for a water cooled engine provides increased heating capacity on cold starts and prevents icing of the throttle body. This is achieved by preheating the cooling water delivered to the throttle body and a heater core with a heating device. The heating device includes a first housing for passing the cooling water from the engine to the throttle body and the heater core, and a second housing disposed around the first housing to form an exhaust passage between the first and second housings. An exhaust gas control device selectively passes exhaust from the engine to the exhaust passage of the heating device to heat the cooling water. The exhaust from the engine is passed to the heating device as a function of when the cooling water temperature.
