    Abstract: A method for controlling a vehicle relates to a voice masking technology for allowing only a specific passenger among passengers in the vehicle to listen to a voice communication signal such as a dial tone, and the technology inhibits the remaining passengers other than the specific passenger from listening to the voice communication signal. The vehicle includes a voice signal receiver to receive a voice signal, a speaker provided in the vehicle to output the voice signal, and a controller to perform frequency conversion of the received voice signal. In particular, the controller generates a masking sound for inhibiting transmission of information contained in the voice signal on the basis of a frequency band of the converted voice signal, and generates a control signal in a manner that the generated masking sound is output to a predetermined region of an indoor space of the vehicle.

    Abstract: A circuit for driving a power switch is presented. The circuit includes a first power switch coupled to a second power switch via a switching node and a driver coupled to the first power switch, where the driver contains an energy storing element coupled to the switching node. The circuit also contains a sensor to sense an electrical parameter of the driver and a charger coupled to the sensor. The charger provides a charge current to charge the energy storage element, and to control the charge current based on the electrical parameter. In particular, a circuit for driving a power switch based on a III/V semiconductor is presented. In addition, a method of powering a power switch driver is presented. The method includes sensing an electrical parameter of the driver and adjusting a current to charge the energy storing element based on the electrical parameter.

An apparatus for simultaneously controlling a near sound field and a far sound field may classify the near sound field and the far sound field based on a distance between an array speaker and a listener, and may control the near sound field and the far sound field and thus, it is possible to perform focusing even when the listener is located in adjacent to the array speaker. Additionally, the apparatus may generate a directive sound source using the array speaker, and at the same time, may reduce a sound pressure in a far field, thereby reducing a sound source spreading to the far field while focusing is performed at the location of the listener.
