  • Patent number: 10127907
Abstract: The present invention prevents a plurality of robots from outputting identical messages to a single user. The present invention includes a message determining section (83) that determines whether or not a message to be outputted from a robot (2) is identical to a first message to be outputted from a robot (1) or a second message which has been outputted from the robot (1). In a case where the message to be outputted from the robot (2) is identical to the first message or the second message, the message determining section (83) controls the robot (2) to (i) output a message different from the first message or the second message, or (ii) not to output any message.

  • Patent number: 9397628
Abstract: An electronic device includes (i) an input-volume measuring section (23) for measuring input volume, which is volume of a sound inputted into the sound input section (17) while the sound output section (16) is performing sound output, (ii) a feedback-volume estimating section (24) for estimating estimated volume, estimated volume is volume of a sound which is to be inputted into the sound input section (17) in a state in which there is no object which blocks the sound in a predetermined range, (iii) volume determination section (26) for determining whether or not the input volume is lower than the estimated volume, and (iv) a function control section (21) for carrying out a predetermined process if the input volume is lower than the estimated volume.

  • Publication number: 20110143819
Abstract: A mobile phone (10) includes: a first housing (12) including a first operation section (22) made of a touchscreen; a second housing (14) to which the first housing (12) is slidably connected; a slid state detecting section (27) detecting a transition from a not-slid state in which the first housing (12) is not slid with respect to the second housing (14) to a slid state in which the first housing (12) is slid with respect to the second housing (14); an inputting state detecting section (29) detecting an inputting state in which an operation input is being made at the first operation section (22); a phone network communication section (50) communicating with another phone via a phone network; and a control section (30) invalidating the operation input from the first operation section (22), in a case where (i) the slid state detecting section (27) detects the transition from the not-slid state to the slid state and (ii) the inputting state detecting section (29) detects the inputting state, the transition and t
