  • Publication number: 20200347576
Abstract: An output shaft of a hydraulic motor is enclosed within a sealed housing and coupled to an input shaft of an electric generator using non-contact couplings. Tool electrical components are electrically coupled to the electric generator. A high pressure hydraulic tool circuit includes a hydraulic tool load and the hydraulic motor of the electric power generation assembly coupleable between a hydraulic boom inlet line and a hydraulic boom return line. Both the hydraulic tool load and the hydraulic motor of the electric power generation assembly can be designed to input hydraulic fluid up to the full rated pressure of the tool. The sealed housing of the hydraulic motor of the electric power generation assembly can be designed to retain hydraulic fluid within the interior up to the full rated pressure of the tool so that no case drain or separate low pressure return line for the hydraulic motor is necessary.

  • Patent number: 10653828
Abstract: A portable medical device includes an interface for accepting a power supply and enabling data transfer while still connected to a human body. The interface may include a universal serial bus interface and may be coupled to a data isolation chip and a power isolation chip. A power controlling processor may determine how the supplied power, e.g., voltage, is supplied to other components within the infusion device. Additional circuitry within the system may provide a secure power transfer within the device to ensure user safety and ensure that a high frequency noise is properly attenuated.

  • Patent number: 10572900
Abstract: Systems, methods and computer-readable media for detecting a mobile device and identifying a user of the device are provided. A wireless signature or other unique identifier of a device may be detected. User information for the device may be obtained from a secondary source independent of the mobile device. Once a user is identified, user information may be retrieved and the user identity and user information may be associated with a mobile device. When the mobile device is then detected at a later time (e.g., after the information has been associated with the device), one or more offers may be generated based on the associated information and/or the location of the device at the time it is detected.

  • Patent number: 10544693
Abstract: Provided is a radial diffuser that includes a housing, a plurality of diffuser vanes, and a plurality of deswirl vanes and at least one vane extension providing a service routing. Each of the vane extensions is disposed after a radial section and may extend into or through a transition and into the deswirl cascade. At least a portion of the vane extensions include a service passage extending therethrough. Each service passage is configured to allow a service conduit to extend therethrough without adversely crossing either a diffusion flow passage or a transition flow passage.

  • Publication number: 20190321546
Abstract: A user-wearable infusion pump system includes an inductively or otherwise wirelessly chargeable battery and at least one button. Activation of the at least one button when not in the presence of an inductive charging signal can enable and/or initiate a first function or operation and activation of the at least one button in the presence of an inductive charging signal can enable and/or initiate a different, second function or operation. Such functionality can also be enabled in the presence of other types of electromagnetic signals.

  • Patent number: 10410473
Abstract: A unified platform supports a plurality of game titles and diverse gaming devices to provide publishers and developers with a software development kit (SDK) including application programming interfaces (APIs) for creating multiplayer tournaments. Developers use the SDK to create tournament definitions and permission levels for tournament organizers. Tournament definitions specify configuration values as parameters the unified platform uses to create instances of multiplayer tournaments. Permission levels can define which tournament organizers are able to set up and manage tournaments and can define parameters to which they must adhere. The unified platform can store tournament definitions that are created by game publishers, game developers, or tournament organizers and can use the stored definitions to create tournament instances.

  • Publication number: 20190240398
Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods for monitoring performance of an ambulatory infusion pump. An ambulatory infusion pump can include a reservoir configured to contain a medicament including a plunger at a proximal end of the reservoir and an outlet port at a distal end of the reservoir. A motor can be configured to cause linear motion of a pushrod to contact and move the plunger to cause medicament to flow from the reservoir out of the outlet port to a patient. An optical encoder can be employed to monitor a linear position of the pushrod. In addition, the optical encoder can be employed to monitor additional system conditions and/or a secondary encoder can be employed to monitor the performance of the optical encoder.

  • Patent number: 9669278
Abstract: An adjustable declined exercise bench and adjustable punching or striking attachments for the exercise bench that attach to the upper end of the bench. The bench is segmented into an upper stationary end segment and a lower pivotable end segment. The lower end segment of the bench where the user's back or will rest can swivel with the movement of the user's torso. Movement of the lower segment of the bench is in opposition to a resistance band that keeps the lower segment under tension and tends to hold the lower segment in an aligned position relative to the upper segment of the bench.

  • Publication number: 20170142299
Abstract: A body mounted system to store a mobile device and or camera. The device relates to a camera or mobile device harness in which the user can wear the device on the body; by way of an elastic strap and a separate case. The belt portion of the Bodyband can be formed of any flexible material, allowing for a comfortable, snug and adjustable fit around the torso area. The docking mount and the belt portion are affixed. The docking mount is padded on the rear and slightly rigid. Located on the front side of the docking mount portion of the Bodyband is a surface to which the case is attached by a fastening mechanism. The case has two sides. The rear of the case has Velcro or any other fastening mechanism on the surface. The front of the case has Velcro or any fastening mechanisms as well.

  • Patent number: 9635042
Abstract: A computer system enables a business to reduce risks from phishing electronic messages. One or more original web links embedded in the electronic message may be replaced with a replacement web link. If the determined risk score for the original webpage is large enough webpage and the user clicks on the embedded web link, a user is directed to an intermediate webpage rather than to the original webpage. The intermediate webpage may provide details about the original webpage so that the user can make an informed choice whether to proceed to the original website. For example, the intermediate webpage may provide pertinent information to a user such as the actual domain of the remote site, the country the site is hosted in, how long the site has been online, and a rendered screen capture of the remote website, and/or a confidence score.

  • Patent number: 9553929
Abstract: An episodic execution of program instances and a coordinated message exchange protocol are combined to achieve eventual consistency in the communication between nodes of a distributed system. Program instances run in episodic loops that are triggered by defined input events and that generate checkpoints. The checkpoints indicate when messages are to be sent from the one instance to another instance or other device. The coordinated message exchange protocol allows the instance to send a message to a receiver, to acknowledge that the message has been received, and to confirm the acknowledgement to the receiver.
