  • Publication number: 20190027785
Abstract: Nonaqueous electrolyte solvents or additives include components synthesized for advanced rechargeable batteries using diversified chemistries to achieve high energy densities. The electrolyte components are generated to create the formation of protective interphases on both cathode and anode surfaces simultaneously. The electrolyte components integrate the key structural elements into a single molecule, thus rendering the stabilization of electrode/electrolyte interfaces more efficiently and with parasitic reactions minimized. The electrolyte components have several applications in diversified battery chemistries such as Li-ion of high voltage and high capacity as well as beyond Li-ion (e.g., Li/sulfur, Na and Mg ion as well as conversion-reaction).

  • Publication number: 20180142689
Abstract: Disclosed is an oil separation barrel, which includes a barrel body and an oil separation and filtration structure provided in the barrel body, the barrel body provided with an oil separation cavity and an output port. An output gas flow is filtered by the oil separation and filtration structure, then enters the oil separation cavity, and finally is output from the output port. At least part of a barrel wall of the barrel body forming the oil separation cavity includes two or more layers of circumferential walls. The output gas flow flows in the oil separation cavity in such a manner that it changes the advance direction multiple times, which can make the flow field uniform and reduce noise and vibration; and the output gas flow impacts the circumferential wall surfaces in the oil separation barrel multiple times, which can further improve the efficiency of oil separation.

  • Publication number: 20120009485
Abstract: This invention described the preparation of a series of compounds that can be used as co-solvents, solutes or additives in non-aqueous electrolytes and their test results in various electrochemical devices. The inclusion of these novel compounds in electrolyte systems can enable rechargeable chemistries at high voltages that are otherwise impossible with state-of-the-art electrolyte technologies. These compounds are so chosen because of their beneficial effect on the interphasial chemistries formed at high potentials, such as 5.0 V class cathodes for new Li ion chemistries. The potential application of these compounds goes beyond Li ion battery technology and covers any electrochemical device that employs non-aqueous electrolytes for the benefit of high energy density resultant from high operating voltages.
