  • Publication number: 20080190313
Abstract: A method for managing motor components is performed such that, while one of the motor components is held, identifying information, such as a two-dimensional code, for example, is printed on a printable region on a metal surface of the motor component by discharging ink from a printing head toward the printable region and relatively displacing a position at which the ink reaches within the printable region by moving one of the motor component and the printing head relative to the other. Then, the identifying information on the motor component is read. The identifying information that has been read is stored for each of the motor components. Based on the stored identifying information, the motor components are managed.

  • Patent number: 5072319
Abstract: There is provided a correction value generating means (15) which utilizes, as a correction value, the difference between a first tracking error signal provided by a first tracking error detecting means (13) and a second tracking error signal provided by a second tracking error detecting means (10) where any one of first magnetic heads (3), (4) and second magnetic heads (5), (6) fitted through electric-mechanical transducing elements (7), (8) is in a state of reproducing, but the difference between the second tracking error signal of a recorded track being currently reproduced and the second tracking error signal preceding the recorded track is used as the correction value where the first magnetic heads (3), (4) are in a state of recording while the second magnetic heads (5), (6) are in a state of reproducing, so that the correction value can be used to correct a reference signal used to drive the electric-mechanical transducing elements thereby to control the electric-mechanical transducing elements (7), (8)

  • Patent number: 5025329
Abstract: A device is provided for electronically editing and recording new signals on recorded tracks on a recording medium. Reproduction is started from the track just before an editing point and a magnetic head mounted on an electro-mechanical converting element traces the curvature of the reproducing track. A deviation amount of the electro-mechanical converting element upon reproduction of the track just before the editing point is detected by a strain detecting sensor mounted on the electro-mechanical converting element. The detection signal is sampled at a plurality of sample points and stored in a memory circuit. When the head reaches the editing point, the head is set into the recording mode.

  • Patent number: 4943914
Abstract: The storage control system translates a logical address into a real address by using a translation lookaside buffer (TLB), and checks if a data to be referred to is present in a buffer storage by using a buffer address array (BAA). An integrated logic-in memory device for the storage control system includes a first memory for holding a real address part of the TLB, a second memory for holding a real address part of the BAA, and comparator means, for comparing outputs from the first and second memories, thus eliminating the transfer of a real address from the TLB to the BAA as in a discrete circuit form.

  • Patent number: 4941677
Abstract: An independent wheel suspension system includes a pair of upper lateral link members and a pair of lateral link members for supporting a wheel carrier to the vehicle body. By providing a difference in elevation between the outer ends of the link members for the upper and/or the lower pair of lateral link members, an anti-dive property can be obtained. Further, by providing an appropriate inclination to the rear lower lateral link member, the tendency to form a toggle between the knuckle arm of the wheel carrier and the tie rod is reduced. Also, by making the front lateral link member more upwardly inclined than the rear lateral link member for each of the pairs, an anti-dive effect can be produced without changing the caster angle and other property of the suspension system during cornering maneuvers.

  • Patent number: 4916604
Abstract: A cache storage apparatus used for a plurality of requestors includes a unit for detecting if consecutive requests by the same requestor have the same access line; a stack unit for storing access addresses to a cache storage unit for each requestor after a cache directory unit was searched; and a plurality of pipe lines allowing the service of plural and concurrent accesses to other than the cache directory unit. In the cache storage apparatus, if there are consecutive accesses to the same line from the same requestor, the access address to the cache storage unit for the succeeding request is not obtained by searching the cache directory unit, but the access address to the cache storage unit for the preceding request is read from the stack unit and used as the access address for the succeeding request.

  • Patent number: 4842296
Abstract: In a four-link parallel link vehicle suspension system, a generatrix or an imaginary king pin is defined as a line connecting an instantaneous center of rotation of the knuckle as defined by an upper pair of lateral links with another instantaneous center of the rotation as define by a lower pair of lateral links and the range of the intersection of the imaginary king pin with the tread contact surface is minimized for the purpose of reducing the change in the force required to maintain a certain steering angle of the wheel. Thereby, the handling of the vehicle is improved through the reduction in change in the force required to maintain a steering angle of the wheel while maintaining the freedom of parameter setting which is intrinsic to the four-link parallel link vehicle suspension system.

  • Patent number: 4840396
Abstract: A rear suspension system for automobiles, comprising: a trailing arm pivoted to the automobile body at its front end and to a knuckle at its rear end; a first and a second lateral links extending laterally across an upper portion and a lower portion of the knuckle and the corresponding locations of the automobile body, respectively; and a third lateral link extending laterally across an intermediate position of the knuckle, located between the upper portion and the lower portion of the knuckle and behind a central axial line of a wheel axle of the knuckle, and the corresponding location of the automobile body. The second lateral link has a substantially same length as the third lateral link. Thus, the mounting positions of the lower end of the shock absorber can be lowered, and the resistance against the changes in the toe angle and the camber angle is increased.

  • Patent number: 4816930
Abstract: A circuit for reproducing informaiton signals and four different tracking control pilot signals recorded on respective tracks on a magnetic tape and producing from the pilot signals a tracking error signal indicative of a relative positional deviation between each of a plurality of magnetic heads and each track of the tape. The circuit includes a balanced modulation circuit for successively multiplying reproductions of the pilot signals and a reference signal to produce a multiplication output signal having components corresponding to the respective pilot signals. Respective tuning circuits derive first and second signals from the multiplication output signal, having different frequency components and corresponding to different ones of the pilot signals.

  • Patent number: 4796904
Abstract: In a rear wheel steering device for a front and rear wheel steering system of a wheeled vehicle wherein rear wheels are steered by displacement of tie rods connected to the knuckles of the rear wheels and disposed in the lateral direction of the vehicle in an opposite phase relationship relative to the front wheels at least under a certain condition such as a small steering angle or a low vehicle speed, the centers of the turning radii of the rear wheels are made to coincide with each other by determining the geometry of the tie rods and the knuckle arms in such a manner that a pair of imaginary lines formed by connecting the pivot points between the knuckle arms and the tie rods to the points of intersection between a horizontal plane containing the said pivot points and the center lines of rotation of the knuckles relative to the vehicle body intersect at a point which is located ahead of the center line of the rear wheel axle.

  • Patent number: 4791507
Abstract: A magnetic recording-playback apparatus having a rotary magnetic head mounted on a piezo-electric element so that the head can trace a recording track. The scanning track, voltage waveform applied to a piezo-electric element and tape speed for the next head scanning operation are calculated based on the current application voltage center value and current tape speed, and this arithmetic operation is repeated for each head scan, thereby enabling continuous noise-free picture reproduction at arbitrary tape speeds. Moreover, when the tape speed is changed, the speed command is varied in steps up to the target speed, thereby enabling noise-free picture reproduction also in the transition of tape speeds.
