At least one wireless handset transmits a request selecting one of the media programs. In response thereto, the source provider simultaneously transmits the selected media program to each of the wireless handsets.

Abstract: A method and system for processing communication services for a mobile subscriber associated with a wireless network includes a database for storing location-dependent rules associated with at least one communication service subscribed to by the mobile subscriber. Abstract: A call center system for enabling communication between callers and subscribers. The call center system includes a public switched telephone network (PSTN) and a virtual call center operable to receive calls from callers via the PSTN. The virtual call center performs Interactive Voice Response (IVR) and Automated Call Distributor (ACD) functions to the callers on behalf of subscribers of the virtual call center for enabling communication between the callers and the subscribers. The virtual call center performs IVR and ACD functions to callers on behalf of each subscriber based on a service level agreement between each subscriber and the virtual call center. The virtual call center performs IVR functions associated with a subscriber for a caller to access information from the subscriber and for a caller to provide information to the subscriber. The virtual call center performs ACD functions associated with the subscriber to connect the caller with an agent of the subscriber.

The method allows a calling party to provide name and number information for automatic delivery to a called party in instances where the called party does not answer the incoming call, or where the line of the called party is busy. The method of the present invention may include the steps of processing an exception for an incoming call from the calling party to the called party, playing at least a first announcement to the calling party to provide the calling party an opportunity to provide information to the called party, processing information provided by the calling party, placing at least a first call to the called party to attempt to deliver the information provided by the calling party and playing at least a first message to the called party, the first messaging containing the information provided by the calling party.

Abstract: A service for screening outgoing telephone calls. The service allows a subscriber to determine the times of day and/or days of the week when she wants her outgoing calls on her telephone line to be restricted to numbers which have been approved by her. Calls to numbers other than those on the authorized list will not be completed. Incoming calls are also restricted and a privileged caller code must be entered for the outside caller to complete the call to the subscriber.
