Publication number: 20140293511Abstract: A device main body includes positive electrode layers, negative electrode layers, and separator layers interposed between the positive electrode layers and the negative electrode layers. A package includes a housing-shaped package main body in which the element main body is accommodated, and a package peripheral edge portion which is flat, thinner in thickness than the package main body, and extends continuously from the package main body. A positive and a negative electrode terminals are extended to the outside from the package peripheral edge portion, and respectively include positive and negative electrode folded-back portions that are formed by the extended portions being folded back. The positive and the negative electrode folded-back portions have free ends and in contact with a surface of the package peripheral edge portion.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 17, 2014Publication date: October 2, 2014Inventors: Atsutaka Mori, Katsuhiko Morita, Tadahiro Minamikawa, Eiji Konishi

Publication number: 20030138335Abstract: A tube pump comprising a tube formed beforehand into a shape adapted for the inner circumferential face of the housing. With this configuration, the tube can be used without problems even when the inner circumferential face of the housing is small and when the curvature of the inner circumferential face is large, and squeezing can be carried out by applying a small pressure force to the tube. Hence, the size of the pump is prevented from being made larger, and breakage of the tube owing to repeated deformations does not occur because the amount of deformation of the tube is reduced. Furthermore, synthetic resins having high chemical resistance can be used as materials of the tube. Hence, unlike a rubber tube, the tube of the present invention is suited for a wide range of applications.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 20, 2002Publication date: July 24, 2003Inventors: Yutaka Doi, Fumio Nakamura, Katsuhiko Morita, Nagao Tamagawa

Patent number: 6023973Abstract: A vibrating gyroscope includes a columnar vibrator, a driver and a detector. The columnar vibrator includes first and second piezoelectric substrates polarized in mutually opposite directions along the thickness directions thereof and stacked with each other. Two divided electrodes are formed on one main surface of the first piezoelectric substrate and spaced in the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the first piezoelectric substrate, and a common electrode is formed on one main surface of the second piezoelectric substrate. The driver drives the vibrator in the thickness direction of the first and second piezoelectric substrates and is connected between the divided electrodes and the common electrode. The detector detects a displacement caused by bending vibration of the vibrator, and is connected to the divided electrodes.Type: GrantFiled: September 3, 1998Date of Patent: February 15, 2000Assignee: Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd.Inventors: Toru Yabe, Katsuhiko Morita, Tetsuo Tatsumi, Nobuyuki Ishitoko, Michihiko Takenaka

Patent number: 5406095Abstract: An LED (light emitting diode) array of the present invention has a plurality of light emitting diodes aligned in row on a substrate crystal. Each of the light emitting diodes has a double hetero-structure formed by causing a light emitting layer to be interposed between p-type and n-type semi-conductive layers and is isolated with isolating mesa grooves. A reflecting layer is provided between the substrate crystal and one of the p-type and n-type semi-conductive layers. The reflecting layer comprises a plurality of semi-conductive layers having at least different refractive indexes of 2 or more than 2-kinds, each of the semi-conductive layers made of semiconductor having the same polarity as that of the substrate crystal and having a wider forbidden band width than that of the light emitting layer. Further, the isolating mesa grooves are provided by a wet etching using an etching liquid of H.sub.3 PO.sub.4 .multidot.H.sub.2 O.sub.2 having volume ratio of H.sub.3 PO.sub.4 : H.sub.2 O.sub.2 =1.about.Type: GrantFiled: August 26, 1993Date of Patent: April 11, 1995Assignee: Victor Company of Japan, Ltd.Inventors: Yoshihisa Koyama, Taku Katayama, Katsuhiko Morita, Masashi Yoshimura, Toshiki Yoshida, Manabu Endo
