  • Patent number: 11944590
Abstract: A continuous manufacturing system continuously manufactures a product from a powder of a raw material. The system includes a first processing device that performs first processing on the powder of the raw material; a second processing device that performs second processing on the powder on which the first processing device has performed the first processing; and an inspection and sorting device including an inspection chamber into which powder sent from the first processing device flows. When a prescribed amount of the powder has accumulated in the inspection chamber, the inspection and sorting device inspects the powder inside the inspection chamber after blocking a path connecting the first processing device to the inspection chamber. When the inspection ends, the inspection and sorting device removes the blocking after discharging the powder from inside the inspection chamber.

  • Publication number: 20240004192
Abstract: A head up display (HUD) with improved resistance to sunload for use in a vehicle comprising an image generating device, an LCD assembly, an optical bonding assembly, and a fold mirror, with specific design countermeasures to combat damage caused to an LCD by heat from sunlight. These include an OB glass and cold mirror film (CMF) as components of the optical bonding assembly, a hot mirror coating and a polarized film as components of the LCD assembly, and a cold mirror coating on the fold mirror. When sunlight enters the HUD, the cold mirror coating reflects only visible light towards the LCD. The hot mirror coating reflects infrared and ultraviolet wavelengths of light away from the LCD. The polarized film cuts p-polarized light. The OB glass and CMF increase the specific heat of the HUD. The HUD thereby reduces sunload that would otherwise damage the LCD due to heat stress.

  • Publication number: 20190212553
Abstract: The present invention provides a translucent cover member for a head-up display device and a head-up display device that suppress double vision of a virtual image. A translucent cover member covers the opening of a housing, allowing the display light to pass therethrough. The translucent cover member includes a base material made up of a translucent resin and a moth eye layer formed on the display light incidence side of the base material and suppressing reflection of light. According to this structure, the moth eye layer suppresses reflection of the display light. Thereby, it is possible to suppress double vision of a virtual image.

  • Patent number: 5528489
Abstract: For delivering parts successively received in shipment units by parts deliverer to part use positions, the delivering operation time required for each parts deliverer is uniformalized. A uniformalizing plan is produced, and the delivering operation is continued according to the plan. The delivering operation time is calculated for each shipment unit (first step). The assignment of shipment units to parts deliverers is shifted such as to uniformalize the delivering operation time for each parts deliverer (third step). The shifting operation is continued until uniformalizing is obtained. As a result, uniformalized assignment can be realized.

  • Patent number: 5471615
Abstract: A distributed data processing system is provided in which two computers, each running under a different operating system, are coupled so that jobs initiated by a first one of the computers can be executed on a second computer by using the resources of the second computer. This enables the user of the first computer to use the second computer under the environment of the first computer. The first computer acts as the interface between the user and the data processing system. Service programs running on the system can handle or provide for input/output operations during the execution of jobs on the second computer so that the jobs seem to the user of the first computer to be executed on the first computer. The system has means for creating a dummy file in the file system of one operating system which is used as a place holder for a corresponding file in a storage device attached to the other operating system, and accessed by programs controlled by that other operating system.
