Abstract: Recording apparatus includes a plurality of analog signal generating circuits for generating various analog signals in response to which a control circuit of the recording apparatus controls various operations of the apparatus, and a plurality of switching circuits connected to the respective analog signal generating circuits in such a way that only one analog signal is transmitted at one time to a common analog-digital converter which coverts the received analog signal into a corresponding digital signal which in turn is transmitted to the control circuit.
Abstract: A sheet sorter device comprises a feeder for introducing sheets to be sorted, a conveyor for conveying the sheets from the feeder to a sheet receiving portion, a plurality of bin trays for receiving therein the sheets upwardly inclined in the direction of movement of the sheets when received, a guide for supporting and guiding the bin trays, and a bin tray displacing device capable of selectively effecting the displacement of at least one of the bin trays to a sheet receiving position by widening the entrance thereof and the holding at a predetermined position of a bin tray to be subsequently displaced.

Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a recording member, image forming devices for forming an image on the recording member, a detector for detecting the state of the apparatus and a digital control having a stored main program for actuating the elements for image formation, wherein the digital controller includes a stored program to be executed upon interruption of the execution of the stored main program and an input port for causing execution of the interruption program, and the detecting means being connected to the input port to cause, in response to the detection signals, the execution of the interrupt program in response to the detected state.
Abstract: A recording device for reproducing image information onto a recording medium as a visible image, the device including an original mounting table for supporting original containing information to be recorded, an original feeding device to feed the original into the mounting table an image original detector to detect arrival of the original at a predetermined position on the mounting table, an image recording device to record the image information in the original onto a recording sheet, instruction device for commencing recording of the image information onto the recording sheet based on a detected output of the original detector, a conveying device for conveying the image-recorded sheet, a device for stopping any selected image-recorded sheet conveyed by the conveyor, a folding device for folding the recorded sheet by further forwarding of the recorded sheet against the stopping device which hinders its further conveyance, and a tray to receive therein the recorded sheet either folded or non-folded.
Abstract: A spring clutch device includes a driving side clutch shell, a driven side clutch shell opposed to and coaxial with the driving side clutch shell, a clutch spring disposed in a tight manner over the two clutch shells, a stop member disposed coaxially with the clutch shells and engaged with one end of the clutch spring to control the action of the clutch spring, and a control member for acting on the stop member, there are formed projections on the circumference of the stop member, in an axially and circumferentially staggered relationship, and the control member is selectively displaceable to positions corresponding to the projections for engagement and disengagement with the projections, thereby controlling ON-OFF of the clutch.
Abstract: A copying apparatus comprises an original supporting carriage for supporting thereon a stationary original, original feeder for feeding an original past an exposure station first scanning optical system comprising illumination lamps, mirrors and a lens for projecting onto a photosensitive medium the image of the original resting on the original supporting carriage, and second scanning optical system comprising illumination lamps, mirrors and a lens for projecting the image of the original onto the photosensitive medium. The photosensitive medium has thereon a common image focus position for two modes effected by the first and the second scanning optical systems.
Abstract: A copying apparatus comprises an original supporting table having a transparent plate for supporting thereon an image original to be copied, scanning mirror means having a first and a second movable mirror for scanning the image original on the original supporting table without varying the length of the light path thereof to project the image original, a plurality of stationary mirror means stationary during copying operation, lens means disposed in a first light path formed by the mirror means for focusing the image of the original onto a photosensitive medium, and means for newly forming a second light path at a position out of the way of the scanning mirror means by displacing the lens means or by varying the angle of reflection of one of the stationary mirror means.
