  • Publication number: 20040085966
Abstract: A transmitter equipped with a plurality of transmission path ports and a relay section. The relay section has a routing table and a router. In the routing table, information about the relay of the received packet to one of the transmission path ports connected to a relay transmission path is stored, correlated with both a port identifier of each the transmission path port and the source address of the transmitter that transmitted the packet. The router extracts the port identifier of the transmission path port that received the packet and the source address contained in the received packet, and routes the received packet to the transmission path port connected to the relay transmission path by referring to the routing table for the extracted port identifier and the extracted source address.

  • Patent number: 5983950
Abstract: A hose 10 of the invention includes an outer hose member 12 composed of a rubber and an inner hose member 14 composed of a resin. A pair of projection ring elements 26 formed on opposite ends of the inner hose member 14 are received in a pair of inner circumferential grooves 24 formed in thick-walled tube elements 18 of the outer hose member 12. The projection ring elements extend the inner circumferential grooves 24 with such dilatation and deformation of the concavity of the inner circumferential grooves 24 enabling the thick-walled tube elements 18 to generate forces acting along the concavity of the inner circumferential grooves 24. Such forces are applied as pressing forces against the projection ring elements 26. The thick wall of the thick-walled tube elements 18 enables the pressing forces to be maintained while the projection ring elements 26 are retained in the inner circumferential grooves 24.

  • Patent number: 5321822
Abstract: An arrangement for producing first to third effective addresses by processing an indirect designation processing instruction indicated by its code. An address register first memorizes, as the first effective address, an indirect descriptor address. An address register memorizes this latter portion as the second effective address instead of the first one. This makes the main memory produce a direct designation data descriptor comprising a direct designation indicating and a direct designation address portion. Meanwhile, a storing circuit stores the code and the first effective address in a first part of a buffer memory. The storing circuit stores this portion and the second effective address in the first part instead of the code and the first effective address. The address register now memorizes the direct designation address portion as the third effective address instead of the second one to make the main memory produce an operand datum.

  • Patent number: 5313601
Abstract: A controller for controlling requests to memory, said requests involving executing in a computer system an instruction having a variable length operand, for use in a computer system for managing the main store in a page size of 2.sup.m byte units by on demand paring processing and for executing an instruction or an operation in not larger than 2.sup.m (n is larger than m) byte operand units includes a detector for detecting the presence of operand data on a same or single page by referencing the (n-m) most significant bits of the n least significant bits of an effective address which has been generated. If the detector has detected the presence of the operand data on the same page, the memory request is altered by dispensing with an unnecessary check request.

  • Patent number: 5297266
Abstract: An apparatus and method for controlling memory requests in an information processor is capable of generating an effective address for a first operand and a second operand, both of which are part of an instruction used to transfer data from a first memory location to a second memory location. The first operand indicates the first memory location and the second operand indicates the second memory location. By changing, in response to address overlap of the first and second operands, control of requests for memory accessing by changing the read address of a control memory, useless memory accessing is avoided resulting in faster processing.

The casing has a corner opening defined at a corner region between top and side walls and delimited by a first open area in the top wall and a second open area in the side wall. The corner opening in the casing is closed by a covering with the first and second lids covering the first and second open areas, respectively. The side wall has opposite side edges confronting the side open area, and respective portions of the side edges adjacent the top wall are formed with guide members for slidably receiving the second lid when the covering is mounted on the casing.

  • Patent number: 5146488
Abstract: The kind of medium owned by a user is stored in a service center system and a medium is determined by a request from the transmitting side in accordance with an inquiry to a receiver. Where a voice is used as a medium for the inquiry or the service, the sound piece data to which a descriptor is added and the sentence structure data for forming a single sentence by collecting the sound piece data and formed by a descriptor are stored. When the voice output request is produced, the sound piece data is obtained from the sentence structure data, thereby producing a voice of a desired sentence.
