  • Publication number: 20180072502
Abstract: A conveyor chain includes a plurality of links, which is arranged in a series arrangement direction and made of a first plastic, and a plurality of pins. Each pin sequentially couples a corresponding one of the links to an adjacent one of the links in a pivotal manner. Each link has a mounting surface, on which an object can be mounted. Each pin has a core rod made of a metal and a cover member that covers the core rod and is made of a second plastic.

  • Patent number: 9555972
Abstract: A conveyor belt (11) is formed by coupling multiple chain links 15 aligned in a conveyance direction X. The chain link (15) is provided with multiple recess parts (15a) and first hinge parts (21) protruding in the conveyance direction X from positions between which each of the recess parts (15a) is placed. If some object hits on an outer end of the conveyor belt (11) to apply force to the first hinge part (21), a section including the first hinge part (21) and a bulging part (30) pivots about a fulcrum at an outer base end of the first hinge part (21) to deform this section. In this invention, a point of action where force acts on the conveyor belt (11) and the center of pivotal motion of the first hinge part (21) and the bulging part (30) are determined to be spaced by a relatively short distance.

  • Patent number: 7971706
Abstract: A conveyor having conveyor chain 100 adapted to be engaged and driven by drums 180 and 190 having spiral flights. The conveyor chain has a number of interconnected conveying modules 120, 140, 150 and 160. Selected modules 120 are aligned in the direction of travel parallel to the axis of rotation of the drums. Each of the aligned modules has a traveling guide socket 122 on the back surface, which engages with flight portions 180a and 190a of the spiral drums, so that the chain is advanced by the rotation of the drums. The modules are rectangular and are interconnected in columns and rows, preferably in a brick pattern.

  • Patent number: 7641044
Abstract: A conveyor chain for a travel way on which an operator and/or a work carriage are reliably moved in a nonskid manner. The conveyor chain has a series of modules, each with a nonskid material loaded upper surface with front and rear hinge portions for connecting the modules to each other by connecting pins. The nonskid material loaded upper surface has hollows with the hollow surfaces recessed below the upper surface. The upper surface includes a number of supporting ribs project upwardly from the hollow surfaces and terminate flush with the upper surface, so that the transfer of the work carriage is easy and a back bend radius is decreased. Miniaturization and simplification of the conveyor are attained.

  • Patent number: 7563188
Abstract: A conveyor chain comprising a number of chain links mutually connected in the chain longitudinal direction, each chain link having a plurality of hinge parts comprising laterally-spaced hinge parts in the form of finger members protruding in laterally-spaced relation from a front edge and a rear edge as an integrally molded unit; and a ball unit holding a ball which is free to be rotated while being exposed to both sides of the chain link, the ball unit being detachably installed in a U-shaped mounting region open at one end between the hinge parts and closed at the other end. The finger members of each link are interdigitated with the finger members of the adjacent links, and are retained by a hinge pin. Removal of the ball unit is facilitated by a tool-inserting slot at the other end of the U-shaped region.

Abstract: The present invention provides a conveyor chain capable of independently and easily mounting ball units into a single chain link to prevent the separation thereof, and also facilitating the dismounting thereof. This conveyor chain comprises a number of chain links mutually connected in the chain longitudinal direction, each chain link having a plurality of hinge parts protruding alternately from a front edge and a rear edge as an integrally molded unit; and a ball unit holding a ball which is free to be rotated while being exposed to both sides of the chain link, the ball unit being detachably installed in a direction normal to the longitudinal and transverse directions of the chain into a unit installation area defined between adjacent hinge parts and a hinge pin longitudinally from the chain direction. The ball unit is positioned and fixed transversely in the chain double-side direction and longitudinally in the chain direction by engagement with the chain link.
