  • Patent number: 11345328
Abstract: In a control device of a hybrid vehicle including an engine, a rotating machine, a power transmission device, and an electric oil pump, the control device comprising: a state determining portion; an electric oil pump control portion performing a test operation of the electric oil pump for determining whether the electric oil pump operates normally when it is determined that the measured temperature of the oil allows the electric oil pump to operate normally; and an engine control portion, the electric oil pump control portion performs the test operation of the electric oil pump in a predetermined period after a power supply state of the hybrid vehicle is switched to a power-on state enabling the vehicle to run and before the hybrid vehicle actually starts running, and when the test operation of the electric oil pump is performed in the predetermined period, the engine control portion starts the engine.

  • Patent number: 11215274
Abstract: A lubrication mechanism for a vehicle drive-force transmitting apparatus including; first and second gears meshing with each other in a meshing region; and a casing storing therein the first and second gears. The lubrication mechanism includes a gutter that extends from an inner wall surface such that oil is received in the gutter and is then dropped from an end of the gutter. The gutter includes a flow-direction changing rib with which the received oil is to be collided whereby a flow direction of the received oil is changed to a direction toward the end of the gutter. The end of the gutter is located on upper side of the meshing region, between first and second vertical planes containing respective first and second axes about which the first and second gears to be rotated, and is located between opposite ends of the meshing region.

  • Patent number: 11149838
Abstract: A lubricating device for lubricating components includes first and second lubricant guide plates which have respective inclination angles with respect to a horizontal line such that the angle of inclination of the first lubricant guide plate is smaller than that of the second lubricant guide plate. The inclination angle of the first lubricant guide plate is determined to permit the lubricant oil guided by the first lubricant guide plate to be directed into the catcher reservoir, and to inhibit the lubricant oil from being supplied to component or components disposed above the gear, and the inclination angle of the second lubricant guide plate is determined to permit the lubricant oil guided by the second lubricant guide plate to be supplied to the component or components disposed above the gear.
