  • Patent number: 7040080
Abstract: There are proposed a track link production method capable of providing markedly improved wear life with good cost performance and a track link produced by this method. To this end, the track link production method includes a heat treatment process (Steps 4, 5) of applying quenching and low temperature tempering treatment to a whole link material after hot forging (Step 2), and is designed such that desired machining is applied to the link material (Step 3) before the heat treatment process (Steps 4, 5) and such that after the heat treatment process (Steps 4, 5), tempering (Step 6) and finish machining (Step 7) are sequentially applied to some of the parts which have undergone the machining process, the some parts including at least parts where high dimensional accuracy is required.

  • Patent number: 6865829
Abstract: A bucket tooth capable of preventing a bolt from being loosened during operation is provided. In order to allow the bucket tooth to generate a resilient return force after attachment, a warp is caused by resilient deformation so that a face on the bucket lip side becomes a concave face. As another means, a spot facing portion is formed around a bolt hole into which a fastening bolt is inserted, on the side facing the bucket lip.

  • Patent number: 6571493
Abstract: A cutting edge which has improved resistance to scratching wear, such resistance being required for cutting edges for snow removal, which has good performance to increase e.g., compressed snow rate, and which can be manufactured at comparatively low cost. The cutting edge comprises a hard member provided at the leading edge of an edge body, the hard member comprising (i) a hard material containing hard grains which are dispersed with high filling density and integrally combined by a metal having a lower melting point than the hard grains and (ii) a protective member which covers at least the front face of the hard material as viewed in the travel direction of the blade and which has impact resistance.

  • Patent number: 6454195
Abstract: The invention relates to an industrial waste crushing bit capable of sufficiently exerting wear resistance from the initial stage of service and improving the service life at low cost. A super-hard member to be inserted in an opening formed in the tip of a bit body is formed into a plate shape and is secured to the bit body in such a manner that the plate faces of the plated-shaped super-hard member are placed in a direction virtually orthogonal to the rotational direction of the bit, with its side being exposed.
