  • Patent number: 11943414
Abstract: An image processing apparatus includes a display device and a processor. The processor is configured to generate a first screen for display on the display device and on which one of a plurality of malfunctioning part candidates of the image processing apparatus and one of a plurality of timings at which a particular sound was output by the image processing apparatus that malfunctioned, are selectable, when a first malfunctioning part candidate and a first timing are selected on the first screen, generate a second screen for display on the display device and on which one or more reference sounds corresponding to the particular sound are selectable, and when one of the reference sounds is selected on the second screen, generate error information indicating the first malfunctioning part candidate and the selected reference sound.

  • Publication number: 20240083459
Abstract: In a technique for controlling a first vehicle, display information and position specifying information are received from a second vehicle different from the first vehicle via inter-vehicle communications. The display information is information for display and independently set for the second vehicle in the second vehicle. The position specifying information is information for specifying a position of the second vehicle. The position of the second vehicle relative to the first vehicle is specified based on the position specifying information. Display on a display device is controlled to superimpose information indicated by the display information on the position of the second vehicle in a landscape in front of the first vehicle based on the position of the second vehicle and the display information.

  • Publication number: 20240071231
Abstract: A human machine interface is configured to select an information display destination from among a plurality of display areas. The HCU acquires a sight line direction of a driver based on an image of an in-vehicle camera. The HCU displays, upon detecting a hop-off action of the driver based on an output signal of an in-vehicle sensor in a situation in which an attention target event such as a puddle, a step, other vehicle or the like exists on a road surface near a door of a driver's seat, in the display area corresponding to the driver's sight line direction, text or an image practically indicating (a) a content of an attention target event or (b) how to deal with a situation.

  • Publication number: 20210107723
Abstract: [Object] To provide a thermal insulation container with which the heat/cold insulation effect is kept for longer time without increasing the size and weight of the thermal insulation container. [Solving Means] The thermal insulation container includes an inner container, an outer container, and an overlap region. The inner container includes a first bottom portion, a first side wall portion that extends in a first direction from the first bottom portion and forms a first open end portion, and a first vacuum layer continuously formed inside the first bottom portion and the first side wall portion. The outer container includes a second bottom portion, a second side wall portion that extends in a second direction opposite to the first direction from the second bottom portion and forms a second open end portion, and a second vacuum layer continuously formed inside the second bottom portion and the second side wall portion.

  • Patent number: 7574062
Abstract: An image processing apparatus includes a coding part that performs coding on image data based on the result of decomposing the image data into bit planes block by block, and a quantization part that reduces the values of the image data of a predetermined block to be compressed at an increased rate. The quantization part is provided at an earlier stage than the coding part.

  • Patent number: 7349579
Abstract: The present invention provides an image processing device, an image processing method, and an image reading method, by which encoded data can be easily generated from sub-sampled image data, without a complicated circuit or an increase in the data amount. A one-dimensional wavelet transform in a predetermined direction is omitted in stage 1, where components 1 and 2 of input image data have been sub-sampled. When coefficient data generated through such a two-dimensional wavelet transform are to be encoded, sub-bands that are not contained in the coefficient data in comparison with the coefficient data of a component 0 should be considered to have been truncated.
