  • Publication number: 20030014215
Abstract: A method and a device for computing sense data, which automatically compute data relating to feelings or senses generated by the human sensations by analyzing signals, such as audio signals, relating to the sensations. In the device, a MP3 decoder storing unit stores digital sound data which has been recorded using MP3 system. A decompression unit decompresses MP3 data which has been decompressed, and outputs as sound pressure value data at each frequency area. A sense data computation unit includes a feeling analysis unit and a rhythm analysis unit. The rhythm analysis unit obtains count of beats per unit time based on the sound pressure value data. The feeling analysis unit obtains a few kinds of feeling parameter values based on the sound pressure value data, determines the kind and level of feelings based on the value of feeling parameter and the count of beats per unit time, and writes the results thereof into a sense data accumulation unit.

  • Publication number: 20020171231
Abstract: A knee protecting airbag device comprises an airbag, an inflator; and a case housing the airbag and the inflator and arranged in front of a passenger. When the airbag extends and expands, it protrudes toward the rear of the vehicle from the opening of the case, to protect the knees of the passenger. The knee protecting airbag device further comprises a holding member having a mounting portion for mounting the knee protecting airbag device on the vehicle. The holding member holds the case. In the holding member, there are formed a communication hole and a support face arranged on the periphery of the communication hole. The communicating hole communicates with the opening of the case and allows the airbag extending and expanding to protrude therethrough. The support face can support the vehicle front side face of the extending and expanding airbag.

  • Publication number: 20020121387
Abstract: A frame joining structure for electrical and electronic equipment housing cabinets, in which ends of frames are simplified in shape to dispense with complex cutting and which possesses excellent strength and waterproof property. Ends of outer side surfaces (4) of three mutually orthogonal frames (1a, 1b, 1c), which constitute a framework of a cabinet, are cut at two planes of ±45° relative to a plane defined by other two frames to be point-shaped. These ends are joined together directly or through a corner member (20) having the same configuration as that of the ends to constitute a firm corner portion.

The front passenger's seat airbag system is constructed to comprise a door, a case and an airbag. The door is arranged on the upper face of the instrument panel. The case houses and holds the airbag in a folded state. The airbag, as housed in the case, is expanded by injecting an inflating gas into a gas inlet port so that the airbag protrudes to open the door and towards the rear side of a vehicle along the windshield. The airbag is equipped with a commutator cloth arranged to cover the gas inlet port. This commutator cloth is arranged to close the two sides in the transverse direction of the vehicle and to open the two sides in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. • Patent number: 6353648
Abstract: Even when the timing signal used in the internal circuit is formed from the clock signal by the delay device, a margin to the timing signal is deleted or reduced so that operating frequency is designed as high as possible. A delay device is composed of inverters which are connected in series and time constant circuits connected in parallel with the outputs of the inverters. The time constant circuits include series circuits each having an MOS transistor and a capacitor. The change of the on-state resistance of the MOS transistor is controlled by the voltage control signal of a voltage controlled oscillator. The delay time of the internal delay device is externally controlled so that the delay time of the delay device for generating the timing signal of an internal circuit is changed. The internal circuit can be operated in a normal manner even if the operating frequency is changed to lower than usual.

  • Publication number: 20010004752
Abstract: In the LSI, in which a plurality of the operational units are loaded in one chip, transmission buffers are disposed associated with the operational units. Reception flags and transmission flags showing states of reception buffers are assigned to each bit of a register, which is capable of being accessed from the host processor. The transmission flags are combined into one signal using OR circuits and the reception flags are combined into one signal using AND circuits, so that the combined flags are assigned to an outer pin. At first, the access from the host processor refers to a reception flag signal and a transmission flag signal of the outer pin. Then, it reads the transmission flag register and the reception flag register, checks the states of the transmission buffers and the reception buffers to access necessary transmission buffers and reception buffers.
