  • Patent number: 8547676
Abstract: Provided are an overcurrent protection device and an overcurrent protection system which can provide time differences among the timings for executing the retry operations among a plurality of overcurrent protection devices connected to a common power supply. When a battery voltage (VBA) becomes a value equal to or lower than a threshold voltage after an FET (Q1) of an IC circuit (51-1) is turned on, all FETs (Q1) of the respective IC circuits are turned off, and a time until the battery voltage (VBA) reduces to a value lower than a threshold voltage after the turning-on of the FET (Q1) is clocked. When the time is smaller than 400 ?sec, the count value N is incremented. Further, turning-on of the FETs (Q1) is repeated after the lapse of the standby time (Tp) set randomly. When the count value N reaches 7, the FET (Q1) of the IC circuit 51-1 is held in the turned-off state.

  • Patent number: 8304928
Abstract: Load type electrical parts incorporated in auxiliary machine modules 164a to 184a are driven by electrical connectors 160a to 180a having communicating units, control units and load driving units mounted on electronic boards. An electronic door control unit 200a connected to a sub bus connected to the electrical connectors 160a to 180a converts the communication protocol of a control signal of the load type electrical parts received from a LAN in a vehicle serving as a main bus of the vehicle to the communication protocol of the sub bus and transmits the protocol converted control signal to the electrical connectors 160a to 180a. Further, sensors or switches in the auxiliary machine modules 164a to 184a output signals to the control units.

  • Patent number: 8170744
Abstract: A front electronic equipment system includes a load electrical parts provided at a front portion of a vehicle, a front electrical control unit which receives a control signal for controlling the drive of the load electrical parts through a main bus line of the vehicle, and a drive control unit connected to the front electrical control unit through a sub bus line, converting the control signal into a drive signal, and driving the load electrical parts based on the drive signal. The front electrical control unit converts a communication protocol of the control signal from a communication protocol of the main bus line into a communication protocol of the sub bus line, and transmits the converted control signal received through the main bus line to the drive control unit through the sub bus line.

  • Patent number: 6917169
Abstract: A field effect transistor is provided between the ground and an H bridge circuit for rotating a motor in forward and reverse directions in a manner that the drain of the transistor is grounded and the gate thereof is coupled to a DC power source such as a battery serving as a bias source which supplies electric power to the H bridge circuit. Thus, when the DC power source such as a battery is reversely connected, the field effect transistor normally in an on state is turned off. A controller monitors the source voltage of the field effect transistor, and when the controller detects an excess current, the controller outputs a control signal to the high-side driver to prevent the supply of electric power to the motor.
