Publication number: 20190336831Abstract: An object is to provide a badminton racket capable of easily achieving different performance properties on both sides of the hitting surface easily. A racket includes a frame which extends annularly, a grip, and a string which is stretched across the frame to form a hitting surface on both sides of the frame. The frame is formed to make the front surface portion and the back surface portion thereof asymmetrical in shape in a cross sectional view taken along a plane orthogonal to the extension direction of the frame. The formation of the frame into such an asymmetrical shape makes it possible to change performance properties on shuttlecock hitting between the front and back sides of the hitting surface at the time of hitting the shuttlecock, thus making it possible for the player to obtain two difference capabilities with the single racket simply by changing his or her grip.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 18, 2019Publication date: November 7, 2019Applicant: YONEX CO., LTD.Inventors: Yosuke YAMANAKA, Kazuya OTANI, Taketoshi GOTO

Publication number: 20180290027Abstract: An object is to make it possible for a single racket to present different design appearances easily. A racket includes a frame which extends annularly, a grip, and a string which is stretched across the frame to form a hitting surface on both sides of the frame. The frame and the shaft is provided with a first colored portion and a second colored portion. As the racket is viewed from a certain angle in a direction nonparallel and non-orthogonal to the hitting surface, the first colored portion appears visible while the second colored portion is hidden from view, and flipping the hitting surface from this state causes the second colored portion to appear visible and causes the first colored portion to be hidden from view.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 2, 2016Publication date: October 11, 2018Applicant: YONEX CO., LTD.Inventors: Yosuke YAMANAKA, Kazuya OTANI, Taketoshi GOTO

Patent number: 7732724Abstract: A detent crest member is integrally rotatably mounted on a dial knob. On the other hand, on a peripheral surface of a plunger mounting member which is rotatably operated using a motor, a plurality of plunger members which generates clicks in a dial knob together with the detent crest member is mounted. In changing over click feeling, the motor is rotated thus selectively bringing one of the plunger members mounted on the plunger mounting member into resilient contact with concave/convex patterns of the detent crest member which form the pair with one plunger member.Type: GrantFiled: January 30, 2008Date of Patent: June 8, 2010Assignee: Kabushiki Kaisha Tokai Rika Denki SeisakushoInventors: Kazuya Otani, Seiji Ishigaki

Patent number: 7589433Abstract: An electric steering lock capable of outputting a signal correctly indicating an operation state of a steering lock mechanism even when the operation voltage of a lock detector decreases. The electric steering lock includes a CPU, a signal hold circuit, and an OR circuit. When the steering lock mechanism unlocks a steering wheel, an unlock sensor provides an H level detection signal to the CPU and the signal hold circuit. In response to the detection signal, the CPU issues a state hold command to the signal hold circuit. In response to the state hold command, the signal hold circuit generates an H level hold signal in correspondence with the detection signal. The OR circuit provides an H level signal to an immobilizer ECU when at least one of the detection signal from the unlock sensor or the hold signal has an H level.Type: GrantFiled: September 27, 2005Date of Patent: September 15, 2009Assignees: Kabushiki Kaisha Tokai Rika Denki Seisakusho, Toyota Jidosha Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Kazuya Otani, Toru Maeda, Toshihiro Nagae, Tomoo Kakegawa

Patent number: 7365450Abstract: An electric cutoff circuit for preventing overheating of a load. The current shutoff circuit includes an FET connected to a motor circuit. A relay fault detection circuit is connected to the motor circuit to detect potential at the motor circuit. A CPU sends a control signal to a relay. The CPU determines whether a fault has occurred in the relay based on the control signal sent to the relay and the detection of the relay fault detection circuit. When determining that a fault has occurred in the relay, the CPU opens the FET to configure an open circuit with the motor circuit.Type: GrantFiled: December 16, 2004Date of Patent: April 29, 2008Assignee: Kabushiki Kaisha Tokai Rika Denki SeisakushoInventors: Toshihiro Nagae, Kazuya Otani, Toru Maeda

Patent number: 7362006Abstract: A steering lock for ensuring an unlock state when it is imperative that the steering lock remain in the unlock state. The steering lock includes a motor for generating drive force that engages and locks a lock bar with a steering shaft. The steering lock includes an ECU. When shifting the steering lock to the unlock state from a lock state, the ECU controls the motor to generate drive force acting in a direction to urge the lock bar to disengage from the steering shaft. The ECU continuously controls the motor to generate drive force acting in the direction to urge the lock bar to disengage from the steering shaft even after the lock bar has moved to the unlock position.Type: GrantFiled: August 1, 2005Date of Patent: April 22, 2008Assignee: Kabushiki Kaisha Tokai Rika Denki SeisakushoInventors: Kazuya Otani, Hiroshi Mori, Daisuke Someda, Tomoo Kakegawa, Masachika Kamiya, Noriyasu Onishi
