  • Patent number: 6993933
Abstract: Even when the efficiency of a low temperature heat exchanger is raised to reduce the required heat capacity inputting to the absorption refrigerating machine and the temperature of cooling water supplied to an absorber falls suddenly as it is, and thereby the temperature of a diluted absorbent solution falls suddenly, an absorption refrigerating machine without abnormally increasing the temperature of the concentrated absorbent solution and crystallizing the solution is disclosed. A heat recovery device 8 is provided between a low temperature heat exchanger 6 and a high temperature heat exchanger 7 of an absorbent solution pipe 13 for connecting a high temperature regenerator 1 and an absorber 5 with the low temperature heat exchanger 6, the high temperature heat exchanger 7 and an absorbent solution pump 14 therebetween. Further, the heat recovery device 9 is provided between the low temperature heat exchanger 6 and the absorbent solution pump 14.

  • Patent number: 6098420
Abstract: An absorption chiller that uses an aqueous salt solution as an absorbent and water as a refrigerant, the absorption chiller including an evaporator that allows the water to trickle or flow downward onto the outer surface of a heat exchanger tube installed horizontally or approximately horizontally, an absorber that allows the aqueous salt solution to trickle or flow downward onto the outer surface of a heat exchanger tube installed horizontally or approximately horizontally, and a condenser that allows the water to be supplied onto the outer surface of a heat exchanger tube installed horizontally or approximately horizontally. At least one of the heat exchanger tubes is provided, on the inner surface thereof, with protruded threads formed in a spiral fashion. A plurality of rows of projections of a height of 0.2 to 0.4 mm with flat portions on the top is provided on the outer surface of the tube successively at a pitch of 0.4 to 0.8 mm between projections.

  • Patent number: 5224352
Abstract: A control device for an absorption refrigeration machine in which an evaporator, an absorber, an absorption liquid pump, a generator and a condenser, etc. are connected to form a refrigeration cycle. A heating amount of the generator is controlled on the basis of external conditions or internal conditions. The device includes a detection device for detecting a plurality of change amounts representative of the external conditions or internal conditions. A memory device stores fuzzy rules and membership functions between the change amounts and a rotational speed of the absorption liquid pump. An arithmetic unit carries out fuzzy logical calculations based on the change amounts and the fuzzy rules and membership functions to calculate the rotational speed of the absorption liquid pump. A control device inputs an output of the arithmetic unit to control the rotational speed of the absorption liquid pump.
